Can't remember a league worse than this. Build variety went down the drain, market is in the worst state it ever was, league mechanic slows you down even more and barely rewarding, ailments are just annoying. Only nerfs and nothing to look for. Good job GGG.

Wrong. 3.13 was the peak of this game because fast *is* fun, but 1.1.5 was actually more fun than this patch because it was fucking balanced.

Think I actually enjoyed the game even more when Merciless Piety as final boss and there used to be PUGs farming docks before maps, but probably that's because I was still new to it.
1.2 with Forsaken Masters for the first time was also great.

Yeah I loved the days when Piety was the final boss, docks runs were common, Kole could quite possibly kill you fast, the bandits were tough...

That was when this game was basically the spiritual succesor to Diablo 2. It has morphed way beyond that now though and there's no point in the devs trying to bring those days back IMO.

I struggled back then :) The bandits especially were a serious pain for me to kill. It took planning and maneuvering and sometimes clever placement of totem distractions so I could slowly chip away at their health without dying.

I think back on those days and as much as I enjoyed them I realize I don't want the acts to feel like that again. I don't really want any part of the game to feel like that anymore. It's satisfying as it is, it just needs some adjustments like nerfs currently being tested and adjusted.

I usually don't frequent the forums but I wanted to know if other ppl felt about all this fiasco and here I am posting this because grinding in a dead economy means nothing...
Dear GGG you can not make the game feel unrewarding.... if I wanted to stop at white maps I would have played rarity/quantity builds farming some tier 3 map.
The economy means the life of every league and if you think people should farm 1 month to get a build to the end game then you should be ashamed of yourself for having the same thoughts as people who invented World of Warcraft fly mount grinding.


I've been baited in playing ice trap ( guess what it sucks ) now I don't want to grind red maps at a snail pace because the economy passed me already( meaning I bought my tinker at 90 chaos now it's 30 chaos at most and I'm still 5 link and yes without tinker traps are shit u don't have mana and the play style sucks).
Changing the build will make my time investment at the start of the league mean nothing.
Good luck with the league I'm done for this league.

GOOD NERFS maybe some trade system quality of life update, please? ahh yes you don't have money to buy servers anymore cause players left the game this league... and that's how companies fail, deal with it.

Fastest drop of a league for me. Didn't even make it a week. Faster exit than Harvest, Synthesis & lultimatum. Maybe the game just isn't for me anymore. Which is ok. Good luck to all still in the league.

Started playing in Heist league, 600 hours played since then.
Made it to lvl 76 and Maps tier 2 this league.

Had enough, it's not fun to play anymore as a casual player.

I am leaving because:
- Game didn't get harder, it just got slower.
- Acts are boring as hell and too long, well, now even longer.
- PoE has so many skills and potential combinations, however, only some are viable. Majority of combinations are not strong enough to compete with skills that are played every league - same skills every league - boring.
- Respecs are expensive, I feel like I can't try 20 builds by my own and make errors, so I need to stick with a build that someone made.
- Trading system is the most disgusting experience I've ever had in any game.
- Game is overcomplicated. Path of building, tons of looting, crafting mods and so on. I don't want to "study" PoB or "work" on grinding through acts. I want to play a game to have fun slaughtering mobs fast.


If it sounds negative, it really isn't. I am sort of happy to be leaving as this really felt like a job instead of enjoyment this league :)
Whoever enjoys this, then please enjoy!
