anyway i haven't uninstalled the game yet, but i might because space on this SSD is getting tight and i may want to install a couple other big ticket games in my library for another playthrough. like dark souls 3 and things like that

right now just having too much fun with heroes of hammerwatch though. incredible game!
and eldest souls just came out. will need to see reviews for that shortly.

I stopped playing in may and just never came back. Was really hoping that 3.15 would go more in the direction of 3.13. I’ve mostly played standard this year because leagues have gotten annoying but it’s impossible to make progress on any of my characters with nerf after nerf. I’m bloody sick of my builds I’ve been working on for a long time just get destroyed. The implicit promise of standard is that we get to play op stuff but it’s rather difficult to do that when everything keeps getting ruined.

This game has more unpleasant people than dota who all have an insane desire to force everyone to just be as miserable as they are doing 3 maps an hour. And heaven forbid they find out you didn’t start playing in beta. Dead gods I’ve played this game for 4 years you would think I had 4 hours the way these people react.

I’ll check in next league, but not holding out hope. I’ll miss it :(

Honestly, hard to understand why so many players dislike these rebalances that make the game worth playing again. They were very much needed to end game killing power creep.
I guess players do go out and come in depending on playstyle.

I switched to standard to just putter around and test stuff out. I hated 1 shots and slogging through the campaign before 3.15 and it is worse now. I like playing alts and don't want to go through the campaign every time. I wish there was an alternate way to level. I don't see myself buying more supporter packs while playing in standard. I bought fancy mtx when I played fancy new leagues.

I've also been playing the newly launched The Ascent. It is a shooter ARPG set in a cyberpunk world. I've never heard of it before today but it has been a blast (literally) to play it so far.

This myth of game ending power creep lol, what is worse, game ending power creep or game ending power removal? Game ending power creep gets the highest numbers the game has ever seen with no signs of slowing down, while the removal... well I guess we will have to see.

I played for last 5 years, this league I did not dropped completely but I’m not far away from it.

Doing the acts again and again is boring, especially without skill gems I plan to use available.
Slowing the game is fine but this means there is no chance to get to the endgame.

Each people have their own style . You like slow and hard game ? your thing . Other people like fast and easy game , they have right to complain if game not fit ? You dont understand it ? You think everyone same as you ?

Thank you for "The Ascent" mention. Never heard of it. Just checked it out. Looks fun. They have swearing in their ad clips! Actual swearing! There is no JC_GGG AI bot that makes me have to use fluff words and happy words and be totally pc and conformist nonstop! Nice.
