And you see to think the EXACT same mechanics I've beaten, in every way, every day, for four years minimum, are somehow going to shock me?
Do you have Alzheimer's? There is no mechanics I am missing because the just invincibility phase EVERY boss they want to show off whenever they want. The game arbitrarily just puts a stop sign down and goes "Watch this" as I spin in circles around the map to dodge it like literally every mechanic they've made. You got bored of the game in the first place you just lie to yourself its a games fault. Anyone who have ever complained about "zoom zoom meta", bs mechanics (on kill effects for example), screen clusterfuck, bosses with phases, bs one shots should STFU about the nerfs. They adress the reason why we have all of this shit in the first place. Those nerfs are not nearly enough to get rid of those mechanics. They need to make 4 or 5 more waves like this in order to even attempt any change. If you dislike the game in current state just shut up and let GGG work, if you dislike the direction GGG wants to take you are free to leave. " Sadly I can't. I normally skip leagues like this that have nothing but chris vision with nothing fun added. Though so far that's been the last few leagues, garbage changes with minimal engaging mechanics, hence my whopping 3 whole challenge levels in ultimatium. However, I made the stupid mistake of hyping a group of new players up for this game and said I'd teach em how to get father in maps and not be so overwhelemd. Clearly a mistake. I am now trapped playing this boring, dishwater league cause I'd like my friends to at least have fun and not ditch em. After that? If PoE is gonna be another, generic, slow, boring arpg. I got better things to do, you're right. I've quit this game for a year before I saw something worth coming back for, maybe it'll be longer. You still have yet to explain how a slower game is fun when I am literally redoing, everything I've done a millions time over, again, but slower. I wish I had such a short memory as you so the game felt fresh each time. You also come off as the exact person who does nothing but complain about the zoom zoo meta for no better reason you're mad that other players are getting by faster than you. I didn't hate it before Chris decided his vision had to be heard again. Almost as if the direction he wants to take, a slow, boring arpg, wasn't what I was playing literally last league and thought we'd get the usual league changes. (Apparently he's been making a game he didn't want to make for ten years now. He should just make a new game at this point)
Interesting to think that no one could change their minds based on a direction the game took out of nowhere. I don't think anyone knew this league would be like this, and further more they asked me. I didn't ask them. I don't turn down an excuse to play games with friends, and poe being a dumpster fire of design this league won't change that. What will change is if I sit down by myself and continue to play, which I won't. End of the day minions will always do waht Chris cries at night about, invalidate his game. I normally only use minions as farmers, but this league it's gonna be nothing but so I can have fun spiting him by STILL ignoring all his mechanics, just in a different way. Beating the game is childs play, learning to go fast was my fun. You people cried that I was having fun and it somehow affected you and they removed my fun. Im surprised you're so salty about that. No, I'm with you I hate the changes too.. Just don't understand why you would bring your friends when you openly said the last 3 leagues have been trash to you. It seems to me you already hated the game before last league then decided to bring your friends into a game you no longer enjoy. It's confusing.
Personally dislike the game myself now days, but sunk cost fallacy keeps me here. However I'd never subject my friends to this torture of a fate. |

I want to play and not hold RMB whole day (thats why i refuse to play cyclone in the first place). There are plenty of idlle clickers out there for you to enjoy that stuff. I dont want to be a fkn bot. I dont care that players play more and better then me. What i care about are the consequences of that playstyle listed above. All the bullshit we have in PoE was made to counter power creep but every player has to suffer because of it even if they were not part of the "zoom meta". |

The game won't be fun anymore, just a chore. I know I won't be playing it anymore. I've waited every league since blight to see what direction they are going, and they just keep making the game less fun. I am done.
There are games out there that don't make me lose my temper and rage quit every 2-3 days. I will go play those. There is no real conspiracy, they just want to make their game into something I don't want to play. Simple as that. It is their game, they can screw it up however they want. When their player base dwindles to nothing, they will not be able to blame anything else but their own poor decisions. Delve was a truly fun league, I enjoyed this game so much, when they decided to make the game "hard" it jut started going to crap. I am sad, a truly good game is just not fun anymore. |
