If PoE 2 and Diablo 4 came out on the same day

Current direction of the game? I would choose Diablo 4, I no longer have any faith in this development team. Nerf nerf nerf the player while increasing the monster power. It's simply creating a floor that is so far behind the ceiling that it's not fun. The floor needs raised.

If not for other people telling me, I would never even know when D4 would be coming out. Since D4 will likely mimic D3 more than D2, the choice is simple.

Diablo 4 for a valid reasoning: They learned their lesson.


Diablo 3 was hated. It had a bug filled launch, it had a broken loot system, and an unheard of content drought.


It harmed the IP so badly they can not afford D4 to be bad.





POE hasn't learned that lesson and with this next seasons goal of purposefully nerfing everything so games a challenge again...that's not how you do it.

GGG basically flipped the bird to everyone and said "nerfs cause we gave too much power to ya guys and cant fix it".

Will I play POE2? ofc. Looks great fun from what we saw of it so far...but i'd let others play it and have them fix issues before I invest time in a seasonal game.

After today's reveal I'm leaning toward D4 now. Who the hell wants the acts increased in difficulty? The acts that are never returned to again unless there's some league-specific reason to?

Who wants nerfs designed to weaken the top 1% but affect everyone?

After todays news. Poe for sure.

with this "changes" they are pushing poe2 would still get the same threatment from me.. play every few weeks and leave.

diablo 4 I don't know because well, I don't know.. nobody knows.

But totally would check D4 first than poe2, missing on poe2 the first month or weeks isnt that big of a deal unless the league mechanic is really lame and bad that you want to finish your challenges quick to get whatever you want.
