If PoE 2 and Diablo 4 came out on the same day

Which one would you play?

D4 because it won't have an endgame and will be relatively content limited, then could settle down to PoE properly assuming its playable that is.
Both.

Masterpiece of 3.16 lore

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
Judging by the quality of the recent ActiBlizzort products, i'd rater donate the cost of d4 to some local charity and play poe, if still being interested in it.

100% PoE2, as I will never purchase any Blizzard Products anymore.
I was there when D3 launched.
D4 will never be installed on my machine.

POE

I'd wait for D4 reviews. I didn't buy D3 but did play the beta and was totally disappointed. No way I'm buying D4 on day one. If reviews say it's a worthy successor to D2 I'm in; if it says it's a worthy successor to D3 screw it.
Poe 2 is poe. Other than that, if it's league start in poe then poe, otherwise d4.
Second-class poe gamer
PoE 2 i am happy to be an exiled. I am sure that blizzard did D2 remaster before PoE2 and D4 lunch right after to take player away from PoE because we exiled have the best game of the world! ^^ our community is strong, our Dev are there et they listen to us. We got EVERY 3 month some new meckanik. We got challenge.

I shall stay a proud PoE retainer t'il i die!

May the maker of this game, all the dev and all exiled be forever blessed ^^
On launch? Probably PoE 2, as it keeps securing its place as my go-to game. But as I've enjoyed D1 and D2 for years, as well as played D3 - I'll definitely try D4. But we all know that the depth of D4 will be rather shallow; some might call that a good thing, some might not - it's all bout preferences.

What makes or breaks D4 for me, will be the MMO elements. If they are enforced in some way or another, be that directly on indirectly via loot/power/XP, D4 will not win me over. Futhermore, if I'm unable to "build" a WW Barb differently from other players, the game does not have enough customization for me.

We all "know" that Blizzard will probably nail the feel and flow of combat. But that's just a (very) small part of what makes a good ARPG. Depth, customization and itemization are more important (too me), but PoE has sadly gone downhill regarding itemization lately (IMO). Still, a new compaign? New animations? New weapon types? Twice as many ascendancies? A new socket system? It will probably be enough to hold my attention for quite some time.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
