remove maven's memory game which is stupid and impossible to perform

I completely agree with you. The last phase is impossible for me, it is a color salad with a stupid memory game in an ARPG game ... The battle itself is not difficult, but in the last stage I don't see shit.
IGN: _xBerserKeR_
growing explosion degen, degen zones, rotating beam during memory game (that damages and disables regen) are such a cheap moves by ggg, not gonna lie
doing it just for the atlas points, no more
stupid fight
dead game
bring back 3.13

I don't care about hard, but this doesn't even feel like a fight.

Thought I accidently started Fall Guys, took me 10 mins to find out I was playing PoE. Please don't turn PoE into Wipeout.

Also totally not immersive..

Which self-respecting boss would ever fight like that? Slow telegraphed moves, dumb sequences, puzzle games etc. so boring.

Just like Sirus meteor maze. Mighty boss calls down meteor, but gives you a maze with exit signs. Totally believable.

More Butcher, less circus act please.

i really hated the maven memory game and i still dislike it

until the last phase it is not that hard even though i can understand why ppl struggle with it
in the last phase however its really hard to see the area highlight while avoiding the lasers

an optional overlay or highlighting on the map(if active) could solve this
And now awakened gems will be put behind the memory game in 3.17.. FML, I tried to avoid the maven because of the utterly stupid mind game... Now we are stuck with it :(
i also think that the memory game is so stupid and invisible to make, Someone of the creators got carried away :)
I never done maven myself but I know myself and memory games are the bane of me. Woke gems being locked behind that probably means I will never drop any myself. So a dislike from me.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
Even if you mess up the memory game, you have 6 portals to beat her, not dying in the first 2 phases is easily doable. If you can save 4 portals for the last phase you should be able to beat her. If you can't beat Maven within 3 memory games during her last phase, your dps is probably too low for the fight to begin with.

Second, if you can't concentrate on the 3rd memory game, it means you are overwhelmed and stressing out. You need more experience with it, in time the fight will "slow down" and you will easily position yourself and avoid pretty much all damage, Maven is way easier than Uber Elder. The same can be said of Sirus, once you figure out what is what and how to react accordingly, those two bosses are quite trivial.

And third, they said "Maven's invitations", not the Maven fight itself. Multi-boss invitations will probably drop the low tier awakewned gems and defeating the Maven will drop things like Multistrike.

Just make a dialogue window pop: "Are you stupid, Exile? Y/N"

On clicking "yes", final memory game is limited to 4 elements blinking goddamn bright red 50% slower and she drops 50% less loot.

And "yes", I'd click it in a heartbeat, my memory is what it is.
If practicing to beat the memory game isn't an option for some of you guys, then do this:

1) Beat the first few phases with minimal deaths.

2) When the final phase memory game just about finishes blinking, log out.

3) Jump into a portal to get back in but don't touch anything.

If you do this, you will "tank" the bomb at the end of failing it with your grace period (where you are invulnerable). Now go back to fighting the Maven. If you guys are wondering, this is how the people who won the first gauntlet after Maven was released did it.
