Just remove this crap please.
I dont play ARPG to memorize shit. It's just out of place here, different KIND of gameplay that a lot of people dont like, and I personally hate. Remove it. Make it 500% easier. Anything but this. Because for the first time in so many years I am considering just quitting PoE. Because endgame boss is just not from this game, and I absolutely hate fighting it. Sirus is hard - and its great, I enjoy killing him. Maven is hard - and she sucks badly, its tedious and unfun. |

I mean if the memory game is your only problem you can just log out and spend portals to avoid it... will still have a few portals left for accidents if you take that approach.

" I believe they patched that out and she'll simply re-start a memory game if you try logging out to cheese. Never tried it myself, though - whenever I die in Maven, she DOES skip memory phase, so maybe I imagined that change? Or the game code treats logouts and deaths differently? Need game info? When I play PoE, I want to do a good build, check my DPS vs bosses, dodge their abilities etc. Not to memorize patterns. I hate that crap and I hate dying to color sequences on a nearly empty screen. " Yeah, that's been me too tbh so I'm not sure either. I try to do it but if I don't then hey, it's just up to three portals lost to ignore the mechanic. Cos when I die to it I certainly get to skip the game, so it's not exactly a hardcore strategy but works fine for softcore. " Last time she just killed me with her memomry games - one after another. Perhaps I spent too much time being careful about where to land the deadzones, should've just burned her nonstop. But still fact is a fact, she did several memory games in a row and killed be with stupid colors. I kill A8 Sirus deathless - but Maven is just a different KIND of game. What next? Maybe some fucking karaoke, with insta-death for not hitting a right note using a mic? I will probably love this more than you do, I have a good music ear. |

And this is why I consider quitting PoE - because now its THAT kind of game. I dont want to spent my free time reqlizing that I suck. |
