I had a lightning strike char using a rapier. Felt like Raiden with how it tossed out insane amounts of chain lightning. Lightning warp used mostly for Raiden RP purposes.

Insanely fast lightning strike for groups and a 0.2 attack time flicker strike for big single targets. Didn't even have the 1.75 attack speed rapier yet.

Haven't tried it out since the buff but looks like a pretty good time.

Lightning strike is quite powerful, specially in new patch. Im going similar path but with templar.

Wonder what gear you have for such fast attack and movement speed.

Also, what's the DPS u got on that build?

Actually realized u might be using whirling blades for movement..... so nvm that... still seems a lot of DPS and attack speed... that is - if this is merciless indeed.

Yep it's merciless. I'm at 7.8k dps without frenzy charges and without faster attacks (3 links on lightning strike).

I am also curious about this build, does it count as weapon damage or spell damage? Do lightning passives increase damage or spell damage passives increase damage? What does your skill tree look like?
