Game window freezes when I hover mouse pointer over the game

It's more fun and educational if you assume that they had genuine curiosity and was out to actually learn something about how the game ships. Even if the original asker has bullshit intent, someone skimming might learn something and not parrot it.

I was able to set it to the default cursor here is how i did it and how you can temporarily fix it.

Make the game into windowed mode before loging in.

once in go to the character the new cursor is on

grab the window and make it smaller by dragging it

if you are now press K that is the shortcut for cosmetics

left click and hold your desktop like you are highlighting/selecting a group of icons

while you are doing that drag it into the poe window it will trick it then
quickly select your cursor cosmetic then repeat that proces and click the red X for default
