Don't suggest noobs to start the game in STD - FOR REAL

Wanted to test my new build and didn't want to level a new character so I checked STD and my goodness - that place is such a travesty!
Makes me feel bad seeing how many new players play there and are being suggested to play there; starting the game on a slow, boring & hard mode. - Half-decent items are on sale at 5x the price while being on sale for a year. - Common uniques that are 1 alch in leagues are 10 chaos in STD because everyone is too lazy to trade. - Currency exchanges have 3x bigger trading margins - Items sell for a fair price in weeks, not hours - You thought exchanging exalts was bad in league? Try getting a response for a rare item in STD - You will be earning way less than what you would in leagues due to extra rewards from league mechanics being missing and boss items or influenced bases already being dropped to their lowest possible value - Underpricing an item won't make you reconsider the price through getting spammed with messages, instead you'll just undersell it due to low player count, which is a problem for noobs Slightly tangent but the chat also seems more burnt out, whiny and snappy - even more than what you normally see! All in all, I believe new players should not be playing STD as it's simply way slower, more boring, less active, imbalanced, more frustrating & unrepresentative of what the game really ought to be. TBH this league is definitely THE league to go for unique collection if you dont have everything already. I missed out on a lot but im already at 30-40% of all unique items collected in my unique tab. Really, really good league to collect them. The topper is most of them that are able to be 5-6L have dropped that way from trial master or other means. I got a 6L Nuros and Geofris from Metamorph mods along with a few vendor 6L weapons.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
Labyrinth salt farm miner. "But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years. |

in general 6L common unique are cheaper in standard league. Just the seller is willing to change character or not
For making money. temp league and standard are equally bad on making money, since after league start out of 1000 unique, may be 100 or 50 items have a good sell value..... And harvest became shit so that it is not a good way to make money However, since a lot people in standard are gambler, it is very profitable to do Alva and sell the temple. Lowest tier 6Ls are more expensive in STD because divines are 25C vs 15C in leagues. They're not equally bad as uniques aren't the only things which you can earn money with. How much do you think noobs can run Alva? I have 300 missions available, noobs have 0. Are noobs going to be the ones who run and learn Betrayal Jun missions with investing tens of exalts in it in order to trade the crafts on TFT? Think again. uncommon unique is way way more expensive

Still, i am pretty sure league start in either is equally bad and if they are noob, they don't even know how to hoarding league specific item to sell in standard 3 months later
