Resolute Technique & Non-Crit Builds

A MUCH BETTER AND ROUNDED OPTION WOULD BE A SECOND KEYSTONE AFTER RESOLUTE TECHNIQUE (SO ITS MANDATORY) WITH:
-YOUR PHYSICAL DAMAGE HITS ARE LUCKY
-YOUR ELEMENTAL DAMAGE HITS ARE UNLUCKY
-YOUR PHYSICAL DAMAGE CANNOT BE CONVERTED

BECUZ ITS STILL A GREAT OPTION FOR BLEEDING BUILDS OR MULTI CONVERTING BUILDS
SO IT WOULD ADD A GOOD OPTION FOR PURE PHYS BUILDS

ANOTHER OPTION IS:
INSTEAD OF "CANNOT DEAL CRITICAL STRIKE" TO HAVE "YOUR CRITICAL STRIKE CHANCE IS ALWAYS UNLUCKY"

The first 3 options are pretty great! gonna add it somehow to the main post.
The other option "YOUR CRITICAL STRIKE CHANCE IS ALWAYS UNLUCKY" seems kinda out of place because RT function shall be to open NON-crit build variation to the game, and players will still use all critical synergies from gear, tree (tailwind, charges, elusive, leech, etc..) and having 100% hit chance on just 1 node, thats definetly broken and wont fit. Thanks for your suggestion! ^^

I can beat your glorious RT by miles in a 30 chaos budget.

Abyssus, Diamond flask, trash 1% crit chest, Precision, cheap ass gloves/ ring with accuracy roll and you're set. Whoever think RT save a lot of effort not going crit is living in their 2015.

At least people not playing abyssus 30c build are actually living, while you running back from town.
I think maybe making pure physical damage lucky is not asking too much. Physical damage doesn't really have a big margin anyways. The keystone can probably make physical damage lucky on non-crits. Seems like it would be a valid upgrade to an underused keystone.

Why is resolute technique underused? In your opinion, what % of players have to use it for it to stop being underused? How comes nobody talks about arrow dancing which is in way worse spot?

Uh, the same way everyone ignored it before the rebranding, a.k.a. OG :D
It's always been the lepper keystone on the skill tree, the definition of worst.
Let's pretend it doesn't exist, nothing good's gonna pop out of it.

RT had and has its use, but bit by bit lost most of the advantages which made it a reasonable choice. Now it's a pretty niche keaystone with limited use.
People want to see it buffed or reworked, as it has the potential.

The potential of RT is for melee to get started into the game. Thats its whole purpose. Once proper build and experienced player a RT build will transition into crit for 99% of melee builds.
RT does not need a buff it serves its purpose of being a starter help.
That's its current state indeed, but why not have it even as a lategame option outside of slams?
It doesn't require much to become a reasonable choice.

It's initial design was about bypassing accuracy stacking in the days it was a big deal, with a tradeoff.

There is no need to make it a reasonable alternative because the superior crit path is rather expensive to establish. Making a cheap alternative that competes with crit screws the whole upgrade concept.

I pretty much agree with this take, even though I wouldn't object to a few interesting, carefully balanced nodes placed behind RT.

And Arrow Dancing ABSOLUTELY needs an overhaul, 100%. As do ranger defenses in general.
We're all in this leaky boat together, people.
