I did actually. Skipped metamorph to heist. Thats what made ritual so cool. Not the ritual mechanic which is basically breach and also perandus. But everything else...cool leagues I missed like harvest, deli, legion, etc. was a lot to learn and kept me busy all leage. Now what? Another year i guess...

for me what makes the game not fun right now.. is meta.. i dont like that most skills which has to stand and cast for a second are basically meh die instantly unless you have invested endless amount of currency so that you have 50mil dps and you insta kill everything... thats just so boring when so many skills are simply not good enough to compit other skills..

the meta is so strict and boring right now and these meta items are over prices... that casual players cant even buy .. it feels like there are less and less builds to do or try now becusee you already know there are these just simply better builds.. like look at elementalist golems.. almost every fking build now use golems and stacking their effects..
its just boring...

and the fact that builds always have to move.. especiall in ultimatum with the over tunned mobs just make it more boring.. one might want to do some none meta build or some simple fun self cast but then he cant really do the content its so dumb.. i was so hyped for ultimatum based on the teasers and i think i was maybe the first to buy the support packs.. and ive lost my motivation for it in the first week. it feels like im forced to play specific builds specific skills or either grind currenct forever on builds i dont like just to be able to try make something.. drop rate is boring. and meh

exactly that.. but isnt it part of the issue? being forced into these kind of builds makes the game insanely boring for me right now.. and i think ultimatum league just makes it wayyyyyy worse than it already was.. self casting wasnt good for a long while now.. but in ultimatum they just feels unplayable..

the moment you stop to cast or to even place a toment you die.. even a cyclone build i wanna see the one on cyclone stop to cast the war totem.. it just feels bad..
minion builds that have their minions die in that ultimatum i wanna see how they recast them in all this ..

its jsut an awful experience to be so limited in builds that are good.. its soooooooooooooo boring to play the same shit op build over and over again.. and if its not the same skill then it has to be exact same concept and exact same thing but replace the gem? and then if you are more casual these meta build items cost endless of currency and its discoraging

That one always kinda triggers me. Why give ppl money because of good marketing? Everyone knows it's just an advertisement, give them money after u tested the product... especially if it's free to test in the first place :| (no offense to u, but that's why game publishers go hard on pre-release hype build up and it sucks)

i was off from the game so long.. basically year or two.. and i came back into 3.13 and omg that was such a blast.. i felt like the game was so amazing and that they did such a good job !

and then 3.14 trailers and announcment came out.. and it looked really promising and good and i liked what i saw.. so i was yes yes they deserve my support.. but 3.14 was and is atleast for me .. really bad... i had issue with client early on.. and had to find out they no longer provide tech support cause they have no man power but they have power for constant mtx.

and then ok finally all works well and i can play.. i was disappointed to see no balance to bad skills but ok...fine and also not enough nerf to meta meta remained meta..

so ok.. started to play seems fine.. then you realize you basically have to play exact same builds as last league again only that they cost aloot more now.. for some reason.. and you also find out that the ultimatum league basically cancel most of the self cast if notall of them and many of the normal attack skills.. and you can basically stack up on life and defence but you still gonna die instantly if you stand for a moment to put damage.. i dislike that alot im bored of dot builds.. and i dont feel like playing one in order to make 100 ex so that i can make a 1 shoot build so i cna do self cast.. lots of skills simply lacking clear too are not being touched its meh boring

One of them quit because he is in love with a woman and his life though... so like that's a good thing though... and also tomatoes, he like those too.

Literally this. A guy quit POE. Guy happened to be streaming his playtime. So what?

Good for him that he's moving on with his life, or good for him when he comes back later. It doesn't matter. He should do what he wants to do and that's it. Whatever makes him happy.

That doesn't mean GGG now needs to "wake up" or anything, wake up to what? That some guy got fed up and quit POE? Dude, if I played POE as a job day in day out and had people whispering and messaging me 24/7 asking questions about every step I took from the coast to Sirus A8, I would probably get pretty tired of it too after a while.

Just let it rest. He's doing what he wants to do in his life and that's great, just let him. If he comes back, welcome back, if not, I hope he's happy whatever he's doing, that's all that matters.

I started midway through Harvest, so this comes from someone who is quite new to the game. I feel like this league is just meant to be harder, less rewarding, and ultimately an attempt to force me into spending more time than before to reach the same height of experience. I am not talking about a nerf to BV selfcurse either, I never had nor intended to do any of the 'meta' builds. But now I can't hardly explore my build I did choose as everything takes so much longer for me to get.

Yayaya your manifesto is that perfect items should be extremely hard or impossible to get, but quite frankly it has completely killed the spirit of why I played the game. I liked playing largely solo, with minimal trading. Make what I use and get enough resources to splurge on some other build ideas. But now there's less being contributed to the trade economy and the need for raw currency is drastically higher due to the reliance on metacraft mods.

I played the last 2 leagues to the bitter end but this one has honestly felt like a job. It's not fun, there's no fun in sight, and Ultimatum was a really lackluster Ritual 2.0. This league I will not be playing much more of, if any, and I definitely will end my streak of 40/40 challenges.

Pretty disappointed right now.
