Several streamers quitting poe.....GGG when will you listen?

I dont know or see what he is talking about. Poe isn't changing for years. Still the same grindy grind as always. Guy who you're refering to must be just got burned out, thats all. And thats obvious, because regular streaming is like a being a slave, not surprised he said "its like a work" for him.
For me its still a great game, even better than before because of harvest and fractured abuse nerf.
One bad thing i can notice about current league is a trialmaster spawn rate, lol.

Wait, really? A streamer said streaming a game is like a work? No shit, imagine that, a streamer feeling like a normal person with a job

It's life, streamers quit, new streamers show up and the cycle continues.

The dude makes however some valid points and I get it.
If you don't like the game as a normal player you can always quit, like no one is forcing you to play. As a streamer when your livelihood depends on it you can't just quit.

Let's be real if you played few years POE then you know what it entails
- one skill which is the best meta skill and play that every day x hours a day
- each league is a checklist which is the same as previous league even more so nowadays and before you can have fun the checklist takes 200 hours to complete and then you can have fun. CuteDog said it as well, the streamers know what's up

it's cool and all, but that would burn everyone out.

I think Mathil has the most healthy relation with the game. He plays some non-meta builds, doesn't do grinding strats all day everyday etc.

I wish bro Somayd everything good, we all grow up and see that there is something else to life then colorful grindy pixels.

i wouldn't stream cause i've never been really exceptionally good at games but other players obviously don't share this limitation.

if someone, who just happened to make his gameplay public, makes it non-public again, it's a sign that he has nothing for the public to show anymore.

what's interesting is, why? what are the arguments against the game?

I guarantee you these big streamers not quitting. Playing games and making a fortune to do it?...thats called "livin the life"

Anyway, game is bloated and old so of course some will tire of it or you'd still be playing d2 or d1 for that matter. We need a new edition or some competition as poe is still best arpg in existance.

if you get the changes spoon fed day by day you of course get the impression that nothing has really changed

I can really feel every single word. I got a wife and a job and im in my 30's.

PoE felt awesome in 3.13 when i could play standard with my gears accumulated over the years without the fear of missing out syndrome until GGG decided to take 3 steps back and make the game worse. Standard is literally dead now and gem feels no fun in 3.14.

Nothing to do cant fracture my deli maps no more, cannot craft new builds in the ways i want them to be without ridiculous time consuming RNG casino craft design.

Its not about the nerfs for builds personay i agreed with all of them. I think what i dont agree is that they nerfed their own game design into a worse version of the game.

I couldn't imagine anything worse tbh, sounds great but there's a lot of downsides - playing a game I don't enjoy or at a time that I don't want to just because it's my only source of income sounds like a sure fire way to end up hating gaming and life in general. And not only that you have to interact with all the low grade morons on Twitch chat, Reddit, Twitter etc. as part of the job - fuck that.

When you give players too much of power creep, crafting creep and currency loot creep it is not a surprise if you take that away they make a tantrum.
