Np MrS what you did is exactly what the tech support wrote into the General Troubleshooting Guide and it didn't help me either.
And btw you didn't have to censor out the guild name from logs we can see your guild via forum profile ;)
i've found this post even tho it didn't help me it still might help you guys. gl.

Hey there,

Even not showing the error when the game suddenly close, do you know if there are any logs linked to "Application" tab in Windows Event Viewer?
When the game crashes check if event viewer register any log about the situation in this tab, just to check if it is a memory leak or something like that.

As a testing purpose I would recommend to try using these command lines in your launch options:
-swa -gc 2

More info about the command lines above:

First thanks AssenVIK for your support.
I have used your suggested command line but unfortunately I seem to know close to nothing about the windows event viewer to actually find something useful I guess.
I suspected that the command-line would force an event output somehow but I could not find any recent event regarding the steam client, still I found a few old events some regarding PoB and some regarding four days ago when I tried to test the stand-alone client.

But I am also not entirely sure that I use the WEV correctly.
Just to be sure, I:
added the line and started the game and played until crash.
then i opened the WEV
navigated on the right side events -> windows-protocols -> applications
then sorted by date and used the search function to find path/exile

Hope I did that right tho.

Hey erinas,

Thanks, crashes log by application are tagged as "Warning" in WEV, if you couldn't find them no problem, could you please share the dxdiag report here?

Also, few other questions:
- Are you running Steam client (not POE) as administrator?
- Did you set/changed RAM memory overclock recently in BIOS?
- Do you know if memory paging is well set up in your OS?
didiag:

- Yes steam is running as administrator.
- Nop I usually don't change settings that might impact future games therefore I never even once touched the bios.

- And I actually don't know anything about memory paging. I just have a brief explanation on what google told me just now, that's it. xD

Accordingly to DxDiag there is (LiveKernelEvent 141) which means that could be something hardware-related, however this is generic error code and doesn't indicate what specific is the cause of the issue.

Few other question:
- Do you know if there is any overclock set in CPU or GPU ?
- Have you checked the PC (CPU,GPU,MOBO..) temps while playing the game ?

The GPU is definitely not overclocked
the CPU on the other hand has a multiplier of 39 so if I interpret that right CPU is overclocked.

For the temperatures, the games seems not to be particularly bothered by the temperatures. From the different times while testing today it closes on different occasions, once when I checked a pic on dicord in the background once in my almost empty HO but also sometimes while in the middle of an packed ultimatum at peak temperatures. Most of the time they ranged between 60-70°c.

But still I add the pictures of peak temps for you. both taken in full ultimatums(no game closure afterwards somehow...). I am bad at interpreting those anyway xD

Thanks for sharing the screenshots,
Depending of your room temp, the temps in screenshots are good, GPU isn't that high - a bit - but not something that might be the root cause.
If could share the temps while Idle it is good as well.

I would like to recommend this first due your explanation about occasions that happened during the tests today:

. While gaming if you're using Discord, check if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, if it is , disable it during the test.
Also, open Steam client without administrator rights and check if the game will crash.
NOTE: After complete this test, if there is no difference and still crashing, please rollback these changes and don't forget to set your Steam as administrator again (before opening any other game).

Another testing:
If the first one didn't take any progress, try setting GPU fan speed to 85% and check if any stutterings (freezes/input lag) will happen during that time.
