Letting "elite" people a.k.a. "streamers" skip the queue was really bad move

I wonder if they contacted their community team about this, at all. It's really a brain-dead decision, and people who spend their time thinking about how GGG is viewed should have had input.

GGG has no ethics, never had. They are just getting sloppier about covering it up. And don't be mistaken: this is 100% a Chris Wilson decision, even if it wasn't his idea.

" no, its irrational that there is, and by doing this today ggg have majorly messed up because now they have fed paranoid people with delusions about streamer rng even more reason to keep believing in it. streamer rng makes no sense, at all, theres no rational reason for them to do it. but you wouldnt be convinced by the sane logic of that yesterday and sadly now youre even less likely to be convinced by it thanks to this. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I do think providing priority queues was a bad heat of the moment decision. It does kind of strongly go against the pay to win motto, along with the whole idea of the leagues. As they have always been pushed as an opportunity for a clean start with everyone on the same playing field.
I don't really know if restarting the league is viable, but with so many login issues I feel like most people would be happy with it. |
