Letting "elite" people a.k.a. "streamers" skip the queue was really bad move

they should just restart the entire league at this point, even people like ziz are saying it

And they should employ him for good PR :).
obey - consume - marry and reproduce - submit - watch t.v. - trust the internet - conform - do not question authority - sleep - buy - do not think - die

This one is not even on the product. It's purely GGG.

I'm disgusted by this move.

If the product has issues, well, I'd say go test better or something. Now what am I to say?

Please as a number of people get some morale factor back?

Really, really bad.
Did you try turning it off and on again?
Because the real deal is not what i can do, the only thing that matters to me is that other people cannot do what i cannot, so i feel good.

(anyway fixing the servers for league start would be a good idea, i'm sure it can be done before 3 digits leagues)

It absolutely does make sense if you want to present the game more interesting than it actually is.

no it doesnt, at all, it doesnt make the game look more interesting if someone has better rng, that makes 0 sense because if something is exicitng because its rare and then you up the rng and it happens all the time, it stops being exciting. people who only watch the stream just see the odds based on what the streamer is getting, so if their rng is better it makes the exciting things seem less exciting. if a streamer finds exalts at the same rate you find chaos then finding an exalt looks as exciting as finding a chaos to someone wtching the stream.

unless you play the game, at which point you know the rng of the game and you already know how exicitng it is or isnt to you. i watch streamers all the time, they have exactly the same rng i have, they have the same good streaks and bad streaks.

it doesnt exist, its all in your head and it actually doesnt make sense either, and you are smart enough to understand why it doesnt make any sense but your logic is being clouded by what you want to believe rather than what you are smart enough to see.

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Here is the thing.
Great that you think that your drops are exactly the same as streamers but reality is, they aren't. Why? Because it would be a missed opportunity on the marketing side.

You look at PoE as a game. You have fun in it. It's your leisure. Fun and games stop right there as it's a business. A multimillion dollar one.
No one in GGG is there for laughs and giggles or has a meltdown tonight over this, because, pAssI0N frUit.
Everyone there is for one goal only, directly or indirectly, to make $$. If they enjoy it along the way even better.

So when you realize that behind this wallpaper that you look at is a machinery with a primary goal to make profit, perspectives change.
Majority of the community watches streamers on regular or occasional basis.
250,000 people watched it tonight.
Streamers are marketing force in gaming. Influencers, advertisers, they make a hype.
If you think they can't tweak the odds in various aspects of the game to boost their gameplay and make it more interesting in a way, to support better watching experience, more exciting, you are delusional.
Gaming companies do that.
I would do it if it was my company.

Tonight they made mistake by making that obvious. Probably panicked move, but no one's perfect.
It already made a big backlash of the community. I was watching Quin when log in happened and chat went rampage.

Still think that streamers are not that important, so they leave everything on default settings for them? Think again.

Great that you think that your words are wise
but reality is, they aren't. Why? Because it would be a missed opportunity on the saying bullshit side

Fun and games stop right there as there is people sorry enough to say such bullshit

If you don't have your lollypop, the fact another kid get it doesnt change anything, you just dont have yours.

A lollypop is half a penny, 2 hours of gameplay on a 3 months league in a f2p game is less.

Every league start is the same for as long as there is PoE, and managing to handle such a frustration could be a good idea for people in age to play the game (or even just writing a comment)

You still live in a candyland...
This completely makes me beg the question of whether preferential treatment is also being shown in drops among other things. I work hard for my fucking money and I give some to you guys because I love the product and enjoy what you've created. So much for the brutal fairness of Wraeclast...or maybe this fits right in. May have lost a customer on this one....
Wow streamer queue is real ... I watched multiple sreamers getting in instantly all the time, while I regularly hit an 15k queue like everyone else I know.

Pathetic, GGG.
