Letting "elite" people a.k.a. "streamers" skip the queue was really bad move

Couldn't care less about racing, or even waiting to log in, but letting streamers, especially those that don't even play PoE barely, skip ques while actual players have to wait an hour+ is a disgusting practice.

I'm sad I bought support yesterday, in all honesty.
really bad move on ggg's part...

literally dc'd every time ive gotten on and been rolled back constantly,
also have to re-queue through tens of thousands just to get "this account must be logged in to do that" when i click my character.
Been saying it for a while now.. you need open beta/stress tests. Nobody cares about the "racing" at league start do they? It's all about gauntlet. These league starts are horrible
+
+1 Dick move

right move from Business perspective but dick move is dick move
Yep this is just bad form. Bring on Diablo 4 or 2 resurrected.....
Letting "streamers" skip the queue is fine, but when a streamer able to carry his whole 6 man party through queue on each disconnect is fucking beyond acceptance.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

Actually, I like watching streamers, They contribute a lot to my entertainment and my maintaining an interest in the game. In this way, when expanded to all their audience, they contribute more value to GGG, compared to an ordinary gamer. So, duh, they are compensated proportionally.

Streamer loot? No need for it, people can often be glad to support their favorite entertainer with loot, just as they can be as eager to support their favorite gaming company with money. Even if they are not, they can be hired to do so.

You and I may be playing a game and competing for fun, Path of Math, Mathil , Ziz and co are working. Our stakes in winning are different and naturally the lengths to which we are willing to go to win are different too.

TLDR
If you want the competency, ingame progress and company treatment of a streamer, put up the equivalent hours of play and production. No, I am wrong, put up more, because the people you want to compete with have already survived in the industry which as Orochimaru puts it, takes both hard work and talent. :P

Go elsewhere, this is a bitching post, no one cares you give handies to the streaming community. I dont watch streams, I could care less about streamers...but it'd sure be nice to get past Lionseye without 200 disconnects.
At the very least they should be out front about this. Now we've seen that they favour streamers to our detriment so naturally the question arises how else are they boosting their accounts and characters?
Always saying "sorry for the inconvenience" and "we're investigating" does not cut it any more. They need to be held accountable.
