Nope. If you don't understand the answer, you have no business asking the question

Ah yes, a fundamental truth for any educator.

When a kid asks me why the grass is green or why does it rain, I also prefer to tell them they have no business asking a question, especially if I must dumb down my answer so their inferior intellect can grasp it.

I answered his question. Get off my back. Pretty sure Google will simplify that expression if you highlight it and right click.

My napkin says about 1/1,100 chance for 3 in 60 given the HH rate people normally see, but I'm not going to show my math because I haven't taken statistics in 20 years and I'm probably wrong.
Not in a way normal people can understand. you know we (vast majority of Americans) can't even do our taxes which is just addition and subtraction?

Mostly subtraction
my friend got one in 3 ancient orbs too, I got one out of a wretched handin both of us just stashed them and forgot about them lol

its an exciting item in its own way but sadly its tendency to ruin the game and the fact theres nothing to buy on HC for 80ex that feels like a good idea kinda combine to make it underwhelming.

Edit: sorry he traded his for an awakened spell cascade, which i can understand lol

Sums up my educational experience in math/comp sci. This is what online calculator says for #HH in 60 rolls at accepted HH roll rate. Did I put the right numbers into the calculator? Probably not.

#HH Chance
3 9.107985918E-4
4 4.269368399E-5
5 1.60101315E-6
6 5.003166092E-8
7 1.340133775E-9
8 3.140938534E-11
9 6.543621948E-13
10 1.226929115E-14
11 2.091356446E-16
12 3.267744446E-18
13 4.713092953E-20

nah... simple combinatorics

C(3,60) (1/500)^3 (499/500)^57 is the probability you want.

Unfortunately this is not correct.
70 Attempts... 1/500 per attempt... You lose an orb after one attempt. So to get 1 HH it would be 70/500. For the second, there are 69 orbs left, and so it would be 69/500. Thus, getting 3 successes would have a chance of (70/500)*(69/500)*(68/500) = 0.00263%.

However, if you look at the video, he gets the HHs and has some ancient orbs left. 17 Orbs are left. So, the actual chance is: (53/500)*(52/500)*(51/500) = 0.001124%.
