For the 2nd time, it is not.

The message states which league the buyer wants to buy the Chaos Orbs IN, but it doesn't state which league he or she is in. Those might be different. I regularly get messages from people in Ritual league that want to buy items in Standard league. I don't see they are in Ritual league, I invite them, I get the message that I know they are in a different league.

The problem originates from

a) The fact that some buyers choose the wrong league on the trade site when searching for items
b) GGG not displaying which league the sender is in

Char1983 is saying that when the seller tries to invite the buyer he gets the message "That character is out of your league (and you know it)." The seller can't know that the person is not in the same league unless the seller is in standard and the buyer is in the other league and has achieved at least one challenge.

Char1983 is saying that when the seller tries to invite the buyer he gets the message "That character is out of your league (and you know it)." That is why he gets the message "That character is out of your league (and you know it)." - this is information that the person you want to trade is in different league -_-

It'd be nice to get the information that the buyer is in a different league BEFORE trying to invite him/her (and then getting told that I know that the buyer is "out of my league", which I don't).

It will NOT be nice, that would be rather annoying to get a warning/notification every time you get a message from someone playing different private league than your private league or any other league (because the game don't know if you write about trading, crafting or just chatting). How many times you get this kind of message anyway, once per year? Current system works perfectly fine in my opinion, you get warning only when you try to invite someone who is out of your league (and you know it), and it is just 2 clicks in less than 1 sec. And it is almost like an easter egg! Quite hilarious in my opinion.

Right, so where's the limit on this? What's next? A tag to show what zone you're in? What time it is? What country you're from? What you had for dinner last night?

Fact is you already KNOW what league you're playing and if the buyer fucks up and whispers you for league item when he's in standard or vice versa, well that's his fuck up and has nothing to do with the system in place.

And if you're playing both standard and temp league, you're creating your own problem and this message simply shows exactly what you need to know when you see it, along with a little joke reference. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant to the point of the message being objectively accurate.

Filling the game with redundant information is the last thing you should be doing.
