Why would it, there are multiple posts by multiple people posting the same sort of shit on the forums and none of them have been banned for it, not for any more of the open criticism .
What he is getting banned for is being a dick about it and even IF he was innocent he still engages with his audience in a way that encourages that sort of behaviour.

He said in the video that it's to clear his name for his sponsors. Understandably a sponsor would think twice about supporting someone who sends death threats to people, so he decided to publicly proof that this screen shot was fake.

There was no way for him to do it privately because there was a flood of people on Reddit who kept insinuating the fake post calling for harassment of a GGG employee were real. Ironically the people pushing that narrative were probably mostly the followers of Quin and Zizaran. No one can control what their followers do. You have 5 year olds watching streamers who view the streamers as their surrogate fathers/mothers, not to mention the people who deliberately cause trouble just for the memes.
Matth isn't 100% innocent so being indignant like he is isn't going to help him I think. He's handled this completely wrong and there's zero chance he's doing it this way on purpose to be an "anti-hero" outsider or something. Looking forward to a yummy drama trainwreck later when he makes another video. Fun stuff.

One point though. What scares me is that most are not 5 year olds... Sadly is the human nature to find a religion/god/higher entity/idol and blindly follow it. Happens in real life and ofcorse will happen in a game or any community.
On this topic I agree with shagsbeard... Im tired of people lol.
