Something so easily faked cannot be used as proof. Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

I mean when I first opened his twitter after I_NO mentioned it he made the claim Chris had contacted him (supporting his faked claim) and then went to on to mention the GGG staff member by name multiple times. Needless to say the replies were not good and he's since deleted the lot. Who knows what kind of carry on his discord has.

Hmm it looks like the account lock had nothing to do with the faked image but was a slap on the wrist from GGG because his posting of an unredacted email from a GGG support employee back in Harvest (about his suspension for doing unacceptable giveaways) and his light memeing about it led to some of his Discord members emailing that GGG employee. GGG support became aware that those emails were the result of Matth's Discord because of the current drama and came down on him for it. (I don't think GGG is really being honest here, but we'll never know.)
I looked at the screenshots posted by the guy who really, really hates Matth on Twitter/Reddit and didn't see anything incriminating. Matth never told anyone to contact the person in any of the screenshots I saw (which would be banworthy.) His sin was posting an unredacted email of someone who in his mind wronged him, which caused a community of little kids to send undesired messages to that person. I was hoping for more tinfoil hat drama but it turned out to be pretty tame. Of course, if it's the case that Matth never posted the email address of that GGG employee then he's 100% innocent and GGG is shutting him up because he dumped on the Harvest changes. That would be more fun so I hope that's the case. It looks like this is Matth's first time dealing with bad faith internet arguers and let himself get trapped. Never engage with the "you are 100% responsible for every single thing any of your followers have ever done in their entire lives" people. Every answer you give will be used against you. Just make a PR statement and let it blow over. |
