what actually reeks in this case is that fact that he says he was suspended for the same thing, literally the same fake message, back in harvest league.

Really in poor taste from GGG you don’t own nor can you investigate discord. If this was said in game or on video I’d stand behind you. As it is, he had to go all Nancy drew on yall and prove his innocence. You better have the. Wat supporter packs ever for the upcoming league because you’re making it extremely easy for your player base to not support you.

Maybe watch more than 20 seconds because it is very clear he is innocent and ggg is very much in the wrong to utilize an outside resource they don’t own to pass judgement.

I would tend to believe the streamer here because even if that's how he really felt in his heart there's no way he would be dumb enough to put that on a public discord.
No need to make a 15 minute video though holy crap. Just say: "This part here is fake, it was fake back in Harvest and it's still fake, the only parts that were real were the lame character names I made with [GGG employee]'s name in them. I was mad that I got suspended for giveaways because the rules ended up being different than I thought. I never wanted to perpetuate bad feelings towards [GGG employee] and I apologize for any trouble I caused him. He was just doing his job. I have never and will never support harassment of others." Then you have a 3-5 minute video that says everything without unnecessary and probably inaccurate CSI analysis of pictures that can't be proven real or fake. It is true that anyone can Inspect Element and make a fake image of anyone saying anything. With streamer followers being exceedingly tribal and mean towards fans of other streamers it's probably better to assume all posts are fake unless there's a live record or official archive of them. |
