Massive RIP to PoE.

Even more hyped for it now with the shitty Harvest changes GGG is throwing at us, haha

20 years ago D2 was my POE. But, I stopped playing it eventually because new ways of gaming came out, and you can only run the same exact unchanging world so many times before it doesn't matter what new, but only slightly different from before because there are not a massive amount of options, build you're running this time.

A new coat of paint does not take away the fact that it never changes.

yeah that manifesto really soured things.

TO be honest, I´ll probably play d2r until POE2 comes out.
I like to collect items and gain wealth in games.

In PoE it seems so meaningless to collect items. In D2 you can hort items and use them for PVP in non ladder.

In PoE you start over every 3 Months and your progression/items goes to Standard and nobody cares about Standard. Rares get better and better every patch. Why even craft perfect ones?

When Blizz does a good job at killing bots/hacks/dupes in d2r and doesn't f it up then I´ll play there for sure

PoE is missing something that D2 has. The rewarding/addicting cycle of PvP+PvE. PoE is not a titan, it's a convoluted hot mess.

Luckily, GGG has one more shot, and that's with PoE 2.

D2R is only going to affect PoE numbers for a couple of months. It's not going to have longevity in current year among casual players. Too bad because a competitor really needs to squeeze GGG into being better.

A couple of months would work fine. Nowadays is almost a monopoly of the ARPG genre...

Blizzard doesnt care about botting, the game will last a couple weeks like each d3 season
