Your number one reason for wanting to play POE ?
The skill mechanics are awesome and I love the dark tone of the game and the exile premise

The dark tone of the game, the serious vibe the game appears to give off. The no currency system and something truly deep to dive into. That's what I'm most excited about for sure.

for many years (even after it lost popularity) I was a hardcore D2 fan... the bots kinda killed it for me tho. (small #ppl---large # bots)

Good looking visuals combined with the feel of a good developed game of the aRPG genre.

Im curious to experience the next evolution of crawler inspired by d/d2/tq/tl. Having such a complext and unique skill tree, akin to ffX, would be a great opportunity to see exactly how "OP" you can make a character.

It retains the dark, dangerous ambience of the previous king of the genre but innovates on the skill system. Meanwhile the previous king's successor has forgotten the fans that made it great and instead tries to cater to their grandmothers.

Looks more promising than Diablo 3. The skill, gem and flask systems seem interesting. Especially that skill tree/grid/whatever. Seems to be lot of customization and content.
I think POE is pretty much what D3 should have been. This kinda looks like an updated version of Diablo 2. Which is good. |

Because it's looks amazing. I'm a huge Diablo fan and the "update" this game is to Diablo. Must try!
