Your number one reason for wanting to play POE ?

Im tired of diablo 2 :P want something new! and path of exile looks really interesting!

Having a better ARPG to play then D22 and the idea I might be-able to help a system or influence something in this game.

Reason why I want to play Path of Exile is because it looks so gritty and so dark. Reminds me of my D2 days yes but I enjoyed it. I think I will enjoy this also!

Its kindof a mix of Diablo and FF7 and FFX which is pretty intriguing.

Summer boredom and lack of funding for hookers and blow. Or even Blue Johnny and truffles :(

I want to play it to support developers also I really like the atmosphere.

Summer is generally a shit season for video game releases, and there's really nothing coming out until at least the middle of next month. PoE's closed beta is really the only thing interesting to myself right now.

And then when the time passes and we actually are in fall and winter there are so many releases coming out that finding time for them all actually will be a problem, one I thought I would never have. At least there will be something to help me forget about the beta timer then.

I also don't really understand why some people get so upset when someone claims they want to pass the time with PoE's beta, since there will always be a game after it, be it D3, SWToR, GW2, Skyrim, or the countless others AAA titles supposedly releasing later this year or early next. Its not like you guys are going to play this to the end of time, or never take a break to check out something new.
