Check if your weapon has added damage.

I tried a reflect map without bastion of elements and was doing fine.

But yeah, the additional fire damage to projectiles kinda screw up with us. Still for its damage, we are not taking that much damage reflect tbh.

Can some1 explain to me how we are supposed to run 9 golems in the end?

We get 3 extra from the tree thats 4 over all for starters. Then another 3 from the amulet suggested in the pob. That means 7 in total. Where is 8 and 9 are coming from?

U fill up the remaining with anima stones? and what golems would u summon more than once?

Maybe I am a bit out of place here, but @dejuvenate, would you please mind taking a few minutes to make the guide a little bit more noob friendly?

Here's what I mean by this: I don't fully understand the "idea" behind the build. As in, what we are building, in order to understand where I can take it in the future.
It's my first elementalist build ever, so... still learning.

What's the deal with Storm Brand? I see it in PoB, a full enigmatic gem for me.

How do you fit 4 auras + slinger in the build? I'm currently on slinger + herald and i am at 90+% mana reserved.

What's the deal with the jewels? I read in comments about something primordial and choices between 4 and 9 golems. I am currently at 4 golems, I have no idea what jewels I need and what they do. I just picked up a few random thoughts from comments.

What are the best flasks for us? Both "cheap" and "expensive" version.

Last but not least, are there are uniques we can make use of? What should we prioritize investing our currency in? Is going low-life the choice? Play with any trash items, but buy the jewels? Look for cluster jewels?

And the dumbest question of them all: does KB/PS actually do "hit" damage or spell damage? Affixes like "X to Y fire damage" or "x to y fire damage to attacks" or "critical strike chance" on weapons are good for slinger builds? Or we need just "TO SPELLS"?

I hope these questions make sense to you and that you can provide some insights either here or by updating the initial posts.

I, for one, plan to take this build to AW8. It's fun. Much cooler than what I played last 3 leagues.

Hi there,

i wanted to share my opinion on this build: Its SO MUCH FUN!!!

Just transisioned from a pure fireball ignite elementalist and i wont look back for sure! Havent progressed that much and just started mapping, but its time for an early comment here, knowing my tree is not completed, far from perfect (since i ran out of regrets) and i just tasted the first impressions of this build:

I just managed to get my anima stone and primordial chain, running 9 golems and its ABSOLUTELY bonkers! I'm melting screens and screens of monsters with ease while getting myself safe in the background. Im experimenting a bit with the defenses atm, bastion of elements seems very nice in the first place. Block with glancing blows will and unwavering stance for stun immunity will also help. Again, the golem buffs from 9 golems are INSANE! The automated reviving of the golems is so nice to watch and a huge QoL-experience.

I really like the playstyle of Kinetic Blast with flamewall because it feels as powerful as an attack build but the monsters will die even when you're running around dodging because we delivered them flames with the huge DoT-debuff and this is really fun to play!

So for now, thank you Dejuvenate for bringing me to this playstyle, i will definately dive deeper into it!

I'll try and chip in.

The idea of the build is simple, Flame wall, has one of the highest DoT damage out of all dot builds, it has 2 parts, initial part, which we don't worry about and secondary, if enemy stands on it takes shitload of dmg, but a mechanic involved here, any projectile that passes flame wall while its on the ground, will get the Secondary DOT dmg effect, so! if a lightning orb passes it, any monster that gets touched by it, will also receive the flame walls DOT effect! In our case we are using kinetic blast, which will pass through the flame wall, applying dot to everything it hits, we supplementing it with multi proj and chain, to hit even more monsters, this pretty much allows you to off screen monsters for days.

I won't go into Elemental Equalibrium, but just be aware one of the rings we use is called Malachai Artifice, which will have Storm brand skill in it, so enemy hit by storm brand (lightning dmg) will get +25% lightning resistance and -50% FIRE and cold RES, which benefits up greatly.

Jewels are optional in my opinion, instead you could focus on buying large/medium cluster jewels with burning bright mod, this will skyrocket the damage.

since we take bastion and have 2,7k+ elemental shield, our worry tends to become physical damage, Rumi conconcion is fantastic pick up allowing us to reach even higher block.
my flasks in SSF atm.

Auras, are situational, need damage? herald of ash. need more defensive layer, flesh and stone, which will make nearby monsters blind. Precision aura is mandatory in my opinion, I'm running ash/precision and low level of clarity to help with mana.

uniques, Malachai artifice, a ring called pyre, will give nearly 80-100? burning damage. Cinderswallow flask, will help with sustain/more damage.

Another new item introduced in the league is Demon crown, to apply even more exposure.

Cluster jewels will be your main goal for damage scaling, keep stacking Burning Bright, its absolutely bonkers.

1 Anima Stone + 2 primordial Jewels (Eminence or Harmony) gives 2 more golems.

You might wanna opt out of this by replacing these 3 jewels with good rares or w/e, seems like we are somewhat short on jewel sockets. Or, vice versa, use rare amulet & 3 primordial jewels for 6 total golems.

The end build should stack cluster jewel (2 large, 4 medium)

Grab fire dot multi/dot multi wherever you can.

Whether or not we should grab both ammy and golem jewels, I am still trying to get them compared, just like @KRIGSSVIN said. Might as well drop both and free up 3 jewel sockets and an amulet. BIS amulet is probably +1 int, +1 fire hunter/warlord double influenced amulet, preferably with a malevolence reserve reduction


Helm would be a warlord influenced (new helm that exposes) -9% fire resist, with a -15 mana reserve enchant.

Got a few folks messaged me both in game and on forum. Please just reply to this thread. Lots of helpful folks can provide a much better answer than me.

Stuff has come uP IRL so I couldnt play as much as I would like, so this guide is a bit slow to update.

My current gear is on my profile, pretty shit. At lvl 83 atm with like 12 hrs /played.

Gear that I have is probably around 150c or soduring the first 2 days of the league.

The large cluster contributes to most of my gy to ear cost.

Above all else. Enjoy the new league and dont forget to take a break every now and then!

Question is there a way to sustain life/mana/es leech with this build? The golem's regen is not cutting it out for me, and KB hits like a wet noodle to leech anything XD.

You dont spam kb. Flamewall dot lasts for 2 second. As we have tons of int, the natural regen and arcane will are more than enough for me.

If you still have issues due to spamming KB too often, look for -mana cost ring, and mana on hit ring or jewel.

My current build has -% reduced mana cost wheel below glancing blow, and I am pretty happy so far.
