Ascendancies next league

If you build Raider for max offense, she loses to Assassin in everything, whether it is an elemental, physical, melee, ranged, attack or spellcaster.

If you build her for max defense, she still needs to build up frenzy charges or gain onslaught for her additional spell dodge to kick-in. In that downtime, she'll get kicked by Sirus all over the place.

Having free Tribal Fury for Raider is great but still not enough to solve her bossing issues.

Raider has a lot of 'increased's. While it adds up to something, ultimately the numbers are not quite there, and more importantly IMO, Raider is just boring. Fast, that's all? So bland. Almost all ascendancy has their interesting quirks that entice you to build around the class but the most interesting part of Raider is frenzy stacking but there are not a lot of powerful frenzy stacking builds, not on an average investment level anyway.

And to rub salt on the wounds, ele, ranged (excluding dot builds), phys conversion attacks fallen behind the meta and put it all together and you get a shit nugget of an ascendancy, an ascendancy that specializes in all underpowered archetypes AND doesn't offer anything powerful or interesting to make those builds shine or desirable.

That's just because she is carried by the power of meta skills. Try Frost Blades instead of CA/TR. Assassin has 25% more damage / less damage taken against bosses. I don't believe much in Elusive because it is hard to keep it up against Sirus too, but it makes up for it with easily ~20% both attack and spell dodge at the start of the buff effect. Elusive boots is too expensive for casual players.

Berserker? Bruh, its one of the best melee class in the game right now. Pretty much only CHampion is better thanks to impale being very strong.

CA is a meta bossing skill? Since when?

It's not the best, but it is easily one of the stronger ones. DoT means you are dealing damage while kiting. CA builds are tankier and easier to gear too.

Maybe because barely anyone plays melee and if they play it, its "bonk" build or just cyclone.
