This is so true. For years people complained about 2h:

Less damage than DW
No 'offhand' like bows get with quiver

Its high point was maybe Atziri axe + legacy Voidheart? Prior to bonks and cries anyway.

And now 2h get to shine a little bit and things swing back the other way on the complaint pendulum. smh my head
They need to either buff elemental attacks and phys conversion attacks. If that happened, classes like Berserker, Slayer, and Raider will be more popular again. As it stands, bleed and impale, pure physical are just too powerful in comparison.

Did you forget about 3.7 Cyclone league and Starforge?

No? Everyone I knew in 3.7 crafted elite 1h foils for cyclone. I could be wrong, but are you saying that 2h was mathematically better for offense or defense that league with cyclone?

And I don't know what you're trying to say with Starforge. That it was good and useable for a long time? That doesn't invalidate dual wielding.

Phys to elemental conversion was king for years. So no, they dont need to.

Raider is really old, was quite unpopular at least in previous league, i got a feeling she will get some changes.

Slayer is terrible imo, not that it has shitty nodes, but because there is slayer leech gloves (offering to the serpent) and there is immortal ambition on belt (and timeless keystone), and there is scion with half effective slayer leech. Slayer isnt much unique really, maybe that crit node and charge somewhat uniq. Raider again is kinda bland too.

Found out that occultist is just good for chaos and strictly DOT cold, better hit spell caster will be inquisitor. She is not bad, but works in more narrow area. Wish some buff regardless, namely to that ES regen node, she supposed to be god damn ES incarnation.

Elementalist, you know how bad she is:)

not a fan of broadly desired block branches being on gladiator's do bleed or go home theme going on, thou there might be some non bleed builds (havent scoured build guides)

Not sure about other ascendancies.

For DoT Trickster will always be better. Occultist was the go-to for curses in the past, rly weird that they reworked curses and didn change occultist at all.
some time before occultist and trickster were in close competition on dot builds, but his defenses and lots of current trickster essence drain players really shows that u must be right.

ps. while thinking about way how to buff ocultist es came up with most ridiculous idea- node with "selected es keystone has no drawback", its way too op thou :D
