What do you think about the new core packages?

Pretty disappointed. I haven't bought a pack for a few leagues because they weren't my thing, and was hoping one of these would blow me away. I like the Harvest set, but no way i'm dropping $240 since i don't want the other sets. I already have breach and abyss stuff. Oh well, maybe next league.

I'm actually REALLY diggin the sets this time. Harvest / Breach / Atlas are my favorite, while the abyss is kind of like the older abyss set and the delve armor set is meh, but the portal is really cool.

Worth it imo, lots of points, nearly every portal is dope and I plan on using 3/5 of the armor sets regularly.

But hey just another whale here >.>

The Atlas pack fails to impress. But nice to see some like it. Proves to show that the “honeymoon” can be reignited....

Expensive AF ...it's not like we already spend a lot of our money to buy gifts to our familly and to buy food for chrismas.

But i guess a lot of rich people support GGG buying stuff cause they keep those price so it must work for them.

Uh...pretty sure I made clear how I feel there earlier.

Im gonna be honest. They dont hit my taste.

Why?

The only thing that goes into my direction of taste is the Harvest Armour Set but i get the impression its over engineered or "over-arted"

I like symmetries that lead to clean armour design. The helm with the unequal horn size and the weird slime really broke it for me.

The missing symmetries and the missing sense of clean is also why I dislike all the recent character effects. The best character effect they ever made was within the Legacy supported pack.

Personally id gladly spent more money on supported packs so i could exchange a new design for my Manticore Armourset which in my personal opinion is one of the best armour sets ever made. Its clean, for the very most part symmetrical (the lionpelt fits the overall design therefore accepted) and not over-arted.

Additionally id like to point out that all shield mtx are weird at best. Best designed 3d Art shield is Lioneyes Remorse which i prefer to skin transfer over any other shield mtx made.
