Seeking Redemption

Can you imagine losing all your shit on a 10 year investment without a warning? How can anyone think this is OK for a company to do? This leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. Why would I ever buy a supporter pack again knowing that without warning everything gets taken away?

GGG needs to specify yes or no on this stuff not "ehh, maybe. you tell us?", especially when we are talking about people who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years on their accounts. The fact that you can't give me a definitive answer and link some random buried reddit post is evidence that their stance is unacceptable.

As far as I know, flask macro is banned on the grounds of 'multiple actions for one button press'.
And PoE Overlay is banned because it's a tool that 'directly interacts with the game during playing', so something like typing out the item properties into a tool that sits in the background to do a price check would be fine, but clicking on an item to get a price check is not.

Guess the non-chinese servers are too poor to handle multiple actions at once.

Just wondering what kind of supercomputers must they have if there they can use flask macros.

I know two people who used Awakened PoE Trade, got banned, and then got their bans revoked, so trade tools are not reason of bans. Though I understand the hysteria around trade tools, because of lack of transparency, and stories like "I was banned for lending HH to a friend" on reddit (obviously, they could just lie and skip important details, but it's impossible to say when GGG doesn't comment on it).

Because you know for certain that nothing will be taken from you as long as you play fair and use the tools they clearly approved. It's kinda like losing the warranty for your car because you installed shoddy chinese parts by yourself, and that's common practice.

Mind you, I'm not judging. I don't find those terms unreasonable, but if you do you shouldn't support anymore (even though you agreed to them when you clicked 'I agree'), I'm not supporting them myself for different reasons so everyone has their own.

This guy was banned for first 3 weeks of the league. Was unbanned without any warning or so, means it was just weird mistake.

Things like that and lack of transparency could make people worry.
