If GGG was upfront about what is/is not allowed I would be 100% fine with it, it's just this ambiguous area widely used addons sit in is a huge problem for the entire community if they will perma-ban accounts with no warning or explanation. The confusion in this thread and lack of solid evidence directly stated by GGG on their overlay/addon use is proof that GGG needs to publicly state their stance so everybody can be on the same page. That's all that I'm asking.

This guy was banned for first 3 weeks of the league. Was unbanned without any warning or so, means it was just weird mistake.
Things like that and lack of transparency could make people worry.
So the moral of the story is still "don't worry if you're not cheating cuz you'll get your stuff back"? Cool. :)

Some of us like to work on facts not faith. I have been playing this game since 2012 and have put a lot of time and money into it. I would like some clarity on something that can potentially take all of my vested time/energy/money and throw it in the trash. That's not asking much.

He lost Delve competition because of that ban. Imagine losing the account during a race or something.

Regardless, they have been clear about their macro policy. Don't use things that mess with the client, don't use things that do more than one action on one button press, etc...

This shovelcut guy acts like people read TOS? In fact, may the universe strike me down if he himself has read the entire TOS. You can actually setup a macro with your mouse now a days. How are people supposed to know its bannable without a warning? The virtuosity coming from you is fucking blinding man. Get a grip.
Also, many people have used flask macro in the past. Many of them are not banned right now.

Obviously he could just also "purchase" currency a day before and "forget" to tell that. This is also a problem with transparency, namely spreading rumours. GGG never comments on such threads to debunk a lie if there is any.

Anyone who has played online games at any point know most games like this don't allow macros and would google it before putting their accounts at risk if they cared about that thing. I guess common sense is still at a premium these days.
