The loop closes here with the result that aura effect stacking combined with stacking amount of auras itself is broken beyond belief.
Plus flasks providing too much raw armour in combination with pathfinder making Transcendence Keystone extremely broken while also shitting on the conventional armour calculation regarding the order in the damage taken layer.

Back on topic, I just realized aura stacking is indeed broken.

Damn dude instead of 86k armour and 90% max fire resistance, 90% max cold resistance, 90% max lightning resistance and 100% chaos resistance

You only get 40k armour, 90/86/86/100 in party

Id be seriously pissed due to the other aura stacker guy overwriting your auras and taking away a portion from your hard earned clever mechanics immortality /s

Yes! And they also lowered my ES and broke my elemental ailments immunity. How can we play party in such conditions?

At this point it makes sense for Chris Wilson to go Fist of the Northstar read "Nerfstar" :P on Aura stacking and % effect stacking.

Nerfing it to the ground would be un-wise, aura stackers should have a place in the PoE ecosystem, that is good for the game. Shaving it off the top end to a point where time/cost investment becomes borderline unjustified is a much better solution.

No nerfs needed.
all the alt quality gems(aka alt qual auras) that make them extra broken will be extremely rare/impossible to get in future leagues.

they ll replace that with banner stackers or some shit. You know meta shifting and all.

Aura stacking is really only a balance problem when there aren't alternatives that have comparable potential to the former's maximum ceiling.
