Well I am one of 97%. Playing on steam. I have not killed shaper, playing fourth league now. I can usually kill conquerors 2x. Third level is already hard for me. Now in heist I completed killing Redeemer quests for the first time. Others kill me easily. I can kill Atziri and temple boss. Met elder guardians few times - they are unkillable for me. Met boss of unique synthetised map - could not go through phase 1.
But it is ok for me, it is challenging and I still enjoy the game as there are goals to reach, looking forwart to every league. I usually play my own build. Two last leagues SSF. I guess if I followed strong build and traded gear I could finish it. But in that case I am not sure if I enjoyed the game and still played today... (and sorry for my English hope you understand what I wanted to say) |

Nope. Not the point. Or maybe it is. Maybe there's just as little point to the idea of killing shaper as there is to getting a mirror drop in SSF.

You don't NEED it. You don't need to kill shaper either.

shaper has some drops you might really want for SSF though and unlike many uniques in the game they'd be more or less farmable.
Mirrors like no use outside of harvest league to mirror a weapon I think, maybe a ring? Pretty much an extremely rare ornament |
