Only 3% killed shaper on steam?

could say the same of any game. not as many are as consistently played as PoE, always breaching top 10 played steam games when a new league is released
i'm one of them lmao
3.26 when?
Don't abandon us. don't turn your backs on the ones loving poe.
Just tell us, who the fk cares about shaper after all his drop gear was nerfed to the ground and now like, completely worthless?

Not on the shaper mood here but elder/UE the only thing is the WE jewel nothing else..Here's hope that uber sirus on the next league (if what that post that I shall not name said is true that 3.13 is another "war of the atlas") actually have a new watchers eye version because the elder one it's just still stupid good for 90%+ of the builds and the access is limited by currency and also gated by your own RNG.

As for the rest of this thread, like I asked before why OP cares for such things? something that he will have to figure it out.

I don't care if anyone here in this forum or on reddit killed the shaper or not.

Poe 0.2/10

Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same..

This is very interesting. I always thought that the ultimate path was to fight and defeat formidable foes and it is why we grind hard to get the best gear to take down the nastiest of bosses. If fighting the hardest bosses is no longer on the to-do list, why grind better gear?. What else is there to do very late game?.

AFAIK, farming A8 for example can be so very lucrative, I dropped the legion sword which I sold for 30 EX last league so it is certainly not just bragging rights or a sense of achievement but it is very lucrative to farm the hardest bosses in general and not just shaper. Mind you, boosting other players is also very rewarding.

More games need to be like this. Making everything accessible means making the game boring. Nothing feels like an accomplishment if 90%+ of players achieve it.

Heck look at dark souls achievements, 3-5% give up after every boss lol

True, but I never thought Shaper was such an obstacle as it is fairly easy to reach and kill. Uber Elder and A8 are understandable but Shaper. Some of the best builds with high investment even reach the mighty SPS Shapers Per Second effectively one-shot him and rendering the entire encounter face-rolled.
I have three phones, Blizzard. Three f***ing phones.

I killed like 200 shapers trying to farm hideout and never seeing it that time (but got profit of like 70ex while doing so).
Next league I casualy checked Hellena and suddently noticed I have shaper hideout unlocked xD So I guess I wasn't paying attention during my 200 runs.

Done the other guy, never done shaper.

Forget all of them, especially now since you got the watchstones shit you need to do. Watchstones, commanders, generals, bodyguards, complete red maps while the moon is in the 4th quadrant while 1 hand is behind you back.

Yea no. Game is stale. All they do is rearrange the maps, throw in a league and say here you go. If the league fails why bother doing maps because it's no different than last time except rearranged.

Luckily Shadowlands in 3 weeks will make me miss lots and lots of leagues.
Poor unlucky slobs who farmed the hideout and didn't get it make up for the 97%

wtf some folks got it on their first and only run, for atlas mission completion. Back when frags were reasonable, still spent dozens of ex on sets to burn.

Agree that the drops in there are pathetic now. At least I have my legacy cast speed corrupted pair of gloves to keep me warm. No starforge :/

Delirium orbs and Simulacrum opened up another kind of approach to the usual "big endgame boss to kill", with the "it's just a map only extremely more difficult and rewarding" and "arena waves" respectively. Other possibilities are Delving/Deep Delving (if your build can handle it) or farming one very specific divination card for profit. Or, you know, play the league content if it's something that plays in an environment which is not mapping (like Heist, Harvest, but not like next league according to the Announcments).

Usually, one would farm, or even fight, one of those endgame bosses either for their drop table, for EGGs or otherwise league challenge. Never, personally, felt them as the ultimate goal in this game - or other ARPG, actually.

Some endgame bosses can also actually rely on your character being able to do something. For example, not every build with SPS would be able to even kill normal Atziri because of reflect. Other builds that does not reach even a 1M DPS (like pretty much everything I've done) may have a lot of survivability via Dodge/Block, but would not be able to fight Cortex or a Kozis because they will slowly swarm the arena with a lot of DoT degen (same can be said for Elder, but at least you have the chance to stop that from happening by keeping an eye on the Madness Propagator that spawns, and slaying them ASAP)

As for Shaper, I don't know what the battle even entitles, but the fact my very hardware gets a seizure by just seeing him is no good. I'll just go with the forced-on-your-throat Sirus battle every now and then, and pass my endgame reaching 36 before shutting down everything and get some fresh air or go for my actual end game content: sowing my garden and harvest some veggies.
