Multiboxing rules the world!!! (the world of GGG)

They should just ask 50 euro's for the game, just like in diablo 3 they bane ToS violations every 6 months before they show the company profit publicly. When they do this they ban botters/multiboxers/MoD violators in one sweep to boost up the d3 sales with a major spike of new sales :). In return ure game gets qaulity server infrastructure and u get some nice funds for development xD, and multiboxers would stil exist they would just have to purchase 6 new accounts every time a ban sweep comes around. But lets face it multiboxing stresses the servers at 6x the regular rate, therefore they SHOULD pay for the new servers x-D

GGG made a mistake by allowing it because other MMO's "allow" it (<-- completely false btw because they don't allow it, they allow it to a point where they ban them all at once to create a new funds boost) but there company strategy is totaly different from the big MMO developers, so when u dont charge the game ure not getting profit from "allowing" multiboxers etc. Ure exualy stressing ure server capacity at 6x the rate and create an economic instability ingame.(<-- blizzard could care less about this xD all they care is for real economic funds :D and they should )

Maybe because, as many other people here, he doesn't give a shit about what others do since it has little to no impact in his gameplay experience. I've seen many people multi login, but I've yet to see anyone actually multiboxing.

I had like 20 Friends to come with me to path of exile, now i have 3, a kid who who just started, my GF and my Cousin, everyone else just bailed out, if they dont fix the 2 most important problems at the moment fast (Multiboxing and the lack of endgame) the game WILL die soon!!!

i dont support multiboxing in any way but it doens't make sense why 17 of your friends would quit cause of multiboxing???

Just some things i wanted to reply to in the OP:

5L's aren't end game items. When the game first went open beta 6L's were less than a dozen. 5L was essentially the best available. That's different now. That's why they have a different value.

This applies to pretty much all price changes.


Just keep in mind, multiboxers aren't looting the most wanted end game items. Regular players are. Multiboxers (now) are just farming alts or are farming 60+ zones for 1 chaos per set.


It really doesn't affect the game.

Mr Multiboxer gets 6x the loot with no real effort, Mr Multiboxer will outbid you in any item you wanna buy because hes richer, the prices of stuff go up because he doesnt care to bid 10 exalteds on an andvarius and after sometime people will not accept less than that for one because it will become a trend, Mr Multiboxer probably does multibox to sell items/currency for irl money wich is bad.

Now the game economy is broken and will only get worse, and yes it affects me and my friends because now i have to farm trash rares 6X more (thats if im running with good iir and iiq like Mr Multiboxer or ill have to farm like 20-30x more) to buy anything decent to progress thru the endgame (or the lack of it).

So yes my friends left, some of them even told me that if they wanted to play just for the sake of it without competitive gameplay (wich Mr Multiboxer Ruined) they would rather play Torchlight 2 wich is more of a fun game and isnt actually booring because u can just throw new mods at it and keep it fresh.
