when i dont have a portal open and have to run back through an area that has reset, i'll do this.. if i pass a chest i open it.. if it drops currency/gems/uniques i pick it up and continue to get back to where i died.. more than not, the slight detour for chests ends up netting me a few good drops Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ... Interesting study! Thanks for taking the time to actually do this. I'm actually keen on comparing the results of different areas (more specifically, the effect chests have on average yield of popular zones).
