exactly. it enforces open competition which immediately makes the shady people less likely to participate.

they only did it before because it was wrong and not many people did - that meant there was profit to be made.

when it's accepted and anyone can do it openly, it's cheaper and there's not as much profit. not as much profit no reason to put the time into it.

then it'll just be me and you selling spare crap filling our inventory, rather than some kid spending his whole day farming for some sword.

Well I'm sure there'll still be plenty of people farming the hell out of the game, just not with the intention of starting a business. :)

Again, you have no idea if GGG are planing or have something in the making to prevent or lower the farming. You do not work in GGG, you do not know anyone in GGG and you dont have any e-mails with this info about GGG.

There are a lot of ways to monitor and find people buying items. Even if you have no fanatsy or imagination of how people can do this does not meen there is no solution to this.
All you want is a way to buy items with RL money.

I think just having a normal auction house will help a lot.Faster trading will mean even casuals will be able to get good gear fairly quickly.

When you think about it not many ARPGs have had AHs let alone RMAH's so I think it's quite possible a normal AH will be adequate.

Can any naysayer tell me exactly how their gaming experience would be negatively impacted by a RMAH?
