Map drop nerfed? Need a reasonable explanation
" Personally I don't have issues buying unique maps. But having to buy 40-60 normal maps or more because whatever broke the map drops is just bad. I said this before they need to take a look at better ways of sustaining. I personally think the watchstones either grant too much freedom and brokes the entire map system for players that are unaware or simply add more of the map chests which have been the case since legion sadly the map chests in leagues are ALWAYS damn rare for whatever reason. Far too dense the same people comes and tries to lecture others saying "maybe don't alch and go" when it's exactly the opposite. I've seen some people saying that they did indeed lower drop rates for harvest and I didnt play harvest so probably the same drop rate from harvest must have carried over to heist. In the end they can do much better with the system and avoid this threads but after 3.9 it's like they forgot that it still has issues and it's the core of the endgame. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words. poe0.2/10. Nuff said. |

I don't have any map sustain problem. I haven't bought or traded maps from other players and I have all watchstones. I'm running T14+ only now. A few days ago, I had a pool of about 50 T14+ maps. Now I have nearly 200.
The only thing I do is alc T14/T15 maps, and alch/chisel/vaal T16 maps. Of course I also run temples and zana and delve whenever they come up. The one thing I will notice though, is that it's hard to sustain a single tier. If I continuously run T15, my T15 map count will get lower, but T14 and T16 skyrocket. So then I'll run those tiers, and so on. But overall, I will continue to build my map pool. I honestly believe that in the long run, it is impossible to not sustain. ![]() |
