Map drop nerfed? Need a reasonable explanation

GGG will shut down any post explaining that the game really pushes trading for your maps, and at the same time allows TONS and TONS of bots, therefore...

If they tell me to trade maps is the only way to progress I simply will go log out and play something else.

I can deal with trading with gear and MAYBE, MAYBE unique maps but the rest of the maps? nah, I would rather just log out and play something else or watch a movie.

Imagine if bots made it to maps though and starting to trade maps.

so much for a game to be played "forever" (more like until you hit a wall on your progression due to terrible systems or nerfs)

You seem to think that. You may even think that they think that.

But Chris said on a Baeclast podcast that they don't particularly care if someone plays their league for 3 weeks or 3 months as long as they come back for the next one.

I am struggling also. Would not be surprised if contracts share the map pool. Forcing you to play heist for no xp and garbage rewards.


I always kept faith in GGG but atm I am struggling. It’s becoming a no fun allowed game in many ways.

Really don’t get why everything has to be nerfed and made more annoying and frustrating, let me enjoy the end game and keep pushing wth decent map drops.

I was thinking about this today.. I could see a huge oversight that map drops are reduced but contracts took place over maps now.

It could be a potential bug, I would not be suprised. But even the heists chests with maps are so damn rare it would make no sense but that contracts took over map drops on the spaghetti code.

I work full time and have a family, I'm not going to spend the few hours a night running map after map just to get a couple of maps of low tier in return. I haven't even got to red maps yet, and only a few yellow. The drops I get are t2-4, and this is crazy messing with me. I should have waited and not dropped 40 dollars on their secret chest, because this map nerf has sickened me. I'm going to sit it out, I'm tired of the 1000000 bot trading with super expensive pricing for things you need in trade. Maybe I'll give diablo a try, I have yet to try it. Tc. GGG clean up your act or you will lose all your fans.

# of drops is fine. If you are trying to advance your atlas then you need bonus completion. As others have said, this is written every league and every league (minus one) it's been wrong.
