so is this also "the worst league ever" or worth playing

I like the patch they just released but it doesn't save the league. I gave it a 6/10 in the beginning, with lots of hope and motivation for what the next weeks would/could bring but as is now I rate it a 3/10.

I don't know about worst league ever, but I think it's the least fun league I've played in 6 years.

Compared to most leagues, it seems like there's a lot more loot from the league mechanic. Especially, considering how easy it is to get alternate quality gems from the grand heists. But I've only done a few of them because I really couldn't be bothered.

I really want the cat pet from this league, but couldn't be bothered drudging through the league mechanic to get it. At this point, I'd rather pull my credit card than force myself to play the heists to get the challenges. That might change when my build feels more solid, but I doubt it.

Harvest was way more fun for me. Mostly because it was the first league where crafting felt even vaguely worthwhile. And that's despite my (heavily nerfed) pet build being unable to kill Sirius even once during that whole league. Harvest was also the first league where I played right up to the last week.

I dunno about worst league, but I didn't have any motivation to go beyond mud flats so...
Yep, totally over league play.
i find heist very tedious and boring, and really bad in rewards. Been running heists up to 83 but honestly cant justify doing them for much longer... Dunno maybe grand heists are better but yea worst league for me so far.

Yep, I'm not a fan of backtracking and waiting for doors to open, even if the rewards were insane I still wouldn't wanna run heists just because they're so boring.
I miss harvest.

Boring and small.

I saved several contracts to run after patch. Drops still shit. Mobs doing more damage. Mark rewards still too low for the reveal costs. Lots of doors. Rogues still fight mobs even if you tell them to open door. Exp buffed, talisman? buffed. Perception now doable.

besides the huge amounts of crashes i have in this league, its pretty repetitiv and kinda boring. Open heist, click a few chests, get item in the end, flame dash out as fast as possible while waiting for doors to open, repeat

Peak of an ACTION rpg right here.

There are several reasons this is the first league i'm skipping, besides one early league i missed due to work.
At least talisman wanted you to fight and kill stuff, not dodge half of the content and spend 10% of the time simply just waiting and watching some rat npc do backflips and give some quirky voiceline.

Maybe my motivation will change over time, but atm i've spent more time in PoB than PoE...
You just wasted 3 seconds reading this.

I like the league so far. Heists are filled with detailed new content. New tilesets, enemies, voices, and a ton of graphic assets. Enemies forming lines and shouting. Aside from stealing things and going for chests all day, there are 2 concepts I never read when people talk about the league: Alternate Gems and Replica Uniques. I love that these Uniques have build-enabling qualities and make some spice change to some Alt-Chars to play when you have acquired some of them. Even easier in trade, you can make new builds and profit from this without running the heists if you don't like it. The Alternate Qual Gems also bring some more customization in a smaller scale.

I did'nt have many crashes or bugs and I am also old, which means I won't freak out because some AI is weak. I would have prefered a more advanced or thought-through alert-concept over the way it is now, though. Still loving the league as a whole.

I just discovered that you could outfit all your Rogues from any one of them... saving you running all over to check on each one separately. Slept through that lesson.
So besides all the bugs and technical problems, its very repetetive.

For the amount of contracts a player is running a league there just aren't enough tilesets and monsters, let alone real boss monsters. Voice lines from your rogues and enemies, while being good, are insufficient. Normal contracts and grand heists play way to similar and besides the size and rewards don't offer any variety. Same with the selected Rogues, you just pick whoever, there are no meaningful/impactful differences in the outcome, maybe other than Karst. They are just forced on you because they put so much effort into the NPC's yet they turn out to be so weak and irrelevant. Like I couldn't sneak through a hole in the floor or blow up a door.

You are also playing against the clock and can't encounter other, more fun league mechanics while heisting (like in Delirium for example). Its kinda like Delve but worse/or less fun.

Another big issue is the lack of progression. I know they just added two league bosses with the latest patch but up until now you really never felt you are progressing towards something cool. Like some people said, you wait for the doors, open chests and run away - rinse and repeat. Its dull.

Overall for the lack of fun/variety and rewards, it ultimately distracts too much from general mapping. There are just too many things that don't quite work out with this one, the bugs and tech issues don't help either.

Which is sad because it looks and sounds awesome and I think the general idea of Heist is pretty interesting.
