so is this also "the worst league ever" or worth playing

It's not what I would call the worst league ever. Honestly it's just standard procedure at this point, underdeveloped and overtuned, hated by the majority of average weekenders while the minority of whales praise it because they praise literally anything GGG does.

It's everything we've had for the past several leagues.

do people actually hate it or just frustrated by the bugs? the league mechanic is actually pretty fun and a nice refreshment after boring harvest but the bugs can get annoying

The heist part is boring as fuck.
The escaping part is pretty fun/exciting.

Its the other way around. Casuals do not really care, they play the game for fun. Vets on the other hand are simply bored of the game and look for a reason to complain about everything. They demand the game be made like they want it to be and anything even remotely different then their vision is called trash because they feel like they know better. The funniest thing is they dont even know what they want.

Its fun. Worth playing,like 10 times more than harvest.

Except the usual half-finished content on league start I find this league being very entertaining and giving plenty of different choices on user end wich I greatly appreciate.
Design by itself doesn't break any records, but deserve to achieve what it is meant to achieve, I can live with that.

Now my only concern is that one major change, "alternate gem quality" seems to be a lot ignored so far. Little to no builds include these, and no one almost tried to revive or improve old builds that were lacking a lot due to few nerfs here and here, and those alternate quality can help a lot here. Anyway I might be wrong, maybe we will have somme statistics about this later?

To conclude, I would say that it's still a free to play game, soooo maybe it's not really necessary to focus on what is being said on forum and reddit, and just to give it a try yourself first :)
