Torchlight 2

Let's not forget that for the original torchlight, Runic didn't have a ton of resources. They fund and publish their own titles. Torchlight was a solid Diablo/Fate hybrid with LAN and modding support. I feel like they've had more time to try things out with Torchlight 2. The addition of multiplayer is important, but let's not discount the redesigned classes, the overworld map (complete with town hubs), the improved quests, etc. It has been stated that 2/3 of the first act of Torchlight 2 will contain more content than all of the original Torchlight.

I liked Torchlight - the moddability, their openness with their community, how they handled DRM, and you got a lot of game for little money. I also like the people behind the game.
And I do like forward to Torchlight 2. I didn't like their trailer much (just not my cuppa tea, art-wise), but it shows that they do have a bigger budget and are apparently spending it wisely. And it features things I'm sorely missing, like dedicated LAN play. I think I'm looking forward to TL 2 as much because of its values as a game as because of the philosophy behind it. 12/12/12 - the day Germany decided boys are not quite human.

I really hate the art style of torchlight. And torchlight 1 was really not that good for me, and got boring fast. Hack they did the game in 1 year only with limited resources. But I have a feeling from videos and info, that torchlight 2 will be a lot better than the first part, and if the game is good, no cartoony art style will stop me from playing it. In other words, cant wait to test it.

I loved playing TL1, but I missed the multiplayer. TL2 will have multiplayer. And the videos on youtube look great!!

I haven't played Diablo 2 or torchlight in MP, singleplayer only for both, and Torchlight was much more fun for me. Definitely looking forward to Torchlight 2, however if it turns out to be completely ****ed over like Dungeon Siege 3 was, I will be pretty upset. DS3 really was a big middle finger to all the people who supported DS1 & 2 throughout the years. DS2 being one of my favorite ARPGs... Still a little bitter about it...
