How dead is Standard mode?

I play both standard as well as league, depending on time available in a given quarter.
If someone paid me and I could quit my job, I'd always play league. |

Buy things in temp leagues, have fun with it in standard. Atleast the last month is in standard. Thats how I play the game. More fun to fund permanent characters.

Seriously considering giving this "Ritual" thing a miss and start working on cleaning up my Standard stash. It's got 6 years of crap in it to sort through and will take me about three months to even get close to clearing out all the crap. I really wish they could come up with some tools to help.

I play exclusively in Standard mode. Due to my limited time to play, I need a mode where I know I can continue my progress and wealth accumulated. I play on and off, and Standard gives me that assurance that I can always hop back into the game anytime.
Trading wise, I have no issues though of cause I am not trading for high end stuff. |

Wish that GGG was brave enough to post "active" players by which league they were playing in. I'd bet we'd see a lot more players playing in Standard than we'd care to admit on the forums. We've steered the conversation away from their concerns and they're simply not here posting. We're a pretty biased community when it comes to stuff like this.

What builds are you going for on standard? i have sooooo much stuff there, and never play on standard, i could hook you up with some stuff to help you get 100 if you want.
