How dead is Standard mode?
" I tend to assume its because they are only PM'ing the cheapest items for sale and not going to the 'expensive' listings, which are actually the proper cheapest items for sale. See this every league too, many threads complaining "people never respond to trades!!!?!!?!" when I'm sitting here thinking "everyone responds to my trade requests in <30sec, do you know what fake listings are?" I mean there's almost always more people in the standard town you rip to than the hc league you came from (except maybe first week league).
So 2nd busiest place in PoE. We tested it extensively

Its ok. League is more populated, but its still ok. Prices are higher, but once you have items or orbs, you are on same price level like others. I twice quited League once I have entered Labyrinth. From that time I play Standard only. |

" No. The problem is Tencent (GGG). Even without asking for an auction house, 8 small keys on the corner of the screen that we can use to make prerecorded reply messages would solve most problems. It's not done out of sheer laziness from their part. RitualMurder is bad at trading though, I've generated 100's of exalts amounting to at least a few mirrors this "league" in Standard. Standard is fun to me, playing with my goodies instead of being forced on the dumb economy game all the time. Edit: On a side note, the mods here are doing a really crap job. This thread should have been closed straight away simply because it replies to itself and attempts to troll. "How is Standard mode" would have been acceptable though. I was on 8 hours a day 7 days a week with stacked currency to trade for pure breachstones and it still look me the full week to go from level 90 to 100 on my char while searching for pure breach rotas in Standard. More than half the time was spent just trading while waiting for pure breach rota groups to fill. But still fun!

If you have gear and some currency that carry over from previous leagues, standard is a good place to dig to depth 500 or test build on end game boss

Back to the topic. @OP, Standard in itself has it's own economy which is typically more stable (except when the league ends and all the league stuff migrates over and makes the economy bounce for a week or two). Standard is great to see your past league items, sorting your stash, theory crafting new build concepts. Plus it never ends so you can keep building your empire. ★ Forum Threads ★
