PSA Scammer Warning

Not sure if this is the right place but got a scammer warning with proof below:

[Removed by Support] is a scammer

Offered a mirror from Cadiro for 70 ex finders fee if someone provides the coinz. I agreed and even upped to 100 ex.
Gave them the coinz so they could get the mirror, then they refused to trade the ex for the mirror, trying to scam me out of the ex too by asking me to give the ex first and then I'd get the mirror in a second trade.
Also offered the mirror to other people at the same time it seems as per what was said in global.

Be careful with this player
[Removed by Support]
(Just pause every few seconds, it's LONG :D)

So yeah, be careful with that player.

You gave a guy some coins. Maybe you were honestly expecting something in return, but another plausible story is that you're just trying to set him up for a punishment.

Here's the problem... GGG hasn't got the resources to investigate every claim. They stay out of this and warn people not to fall for scams like the one you did.

If people would just stop being so greedy and gullible, the scammers would move on to a more interesting game for them.

There's plenty of proof in the video ... that support deleted for some reason now. Just like their name.
" for causing harm to the reputation of others "

wat

The harm to the reputation of a scammer is second to the well-being of decent people who should not fall for that scammer anymore, that's the whole point of the warning.

If you have read ANY of the billions of other "scam" threads you'd know why it was removed by support.
But obviously you didn't. Scamming isn't new,and yet you still failed to take precautions. Then post on here playing the victim card.
Just play the game and quit falling for stupid things.

Wake up.

Thank you both for providing literally nothing useful to the conversation and for taking the scammer's side :)
I'm proud of you.
here's another scenario... you and this guy get together and plan the whole thing. That lets you come here to the forum and play the victim, with "evidence". Others will read this an maybe pony up some coins for you.

A second order scam!

You can see why they don't allow stuff like this. Even if you're in the right. Even if you're impeccably honest. Allowing you to do it would also allow people to run the scam I described.

It comes down to this: They don't allow it.

That's amazingly insightful, thank you.

I admit I have never even considered that possibility. Such situations WOULD be hard to find for sure.

But I honestly doubt that it would work too well, would people really compensate someone who got scammed just like that?
Who knows. If so, it's not like anyone would throw around several ex or mirrors to cheer up the victim.
But when it leads to the suspension of the "scammer" then I daresay that's too much effort for too little gain on the scammers' end to be worthwile.
And it likely wouldn't work more than once either when GGG looks into it and recognizes who they are / were.

Although let's be real here. I dont fully get how video evidence of what actually happened is biased. Talk about having your own set of facts...

I mean if Mathil gets scammed or attempted to be scammed live on stream, are his clips and playback of the stream defamatory because we dont have suspected backround information of private chats Mathil might have had to conspire against a community member?

This is some illuminati shit.

Personally I think video is fair game. I'm not expecting GGG to change policy, but seriously wtf are we saying when video evidence isnt really evidence? Nah we didnt really see anything. Fml the world is so fucked up.
