Having fun doing maps with this build, Im doing some tier 16s, but some bosses take a while a to kill and some I barely do damage against, done two of the crusaders but had a lot of deaths while doing them, can anyone give me some tips of what I can do to increase my dps and survivability or what I can change on my gear thank you.

" I took a look at your POB and have a few ideas for some quick and longer term wins. https://pastebin.com/61JGgvvU The most critical things you need right now are chaos res, higher pDPS weapon, life, and accuracy. The reworked POB has roughly 15% more dps, 10% more hp, fortify on hit, and accuracy. I added Eagle Eye, but only keep until you can find accuracy elsewhere. You already allocated most of the nodes near Thread of Hope, so for now you can remove that and find another jewel that gives 7% hp and a few good damage mods. I was thinking probably saving for a new ax is the best thing for me right now. Anyway, thank you for helping everyone here in this thread. If they are anything like me they play pretty casually. My goal every league is to level a character that can at least kill Shaper. I don't generate tons of currency so my budget is always pretty low. So far I've put about 3 ex into this build. | |
" Hey Zuuule, taking a look Chaos res is definitely your biggest issue at the moment. Otherwise you seem to be heading in the right direction. Here's an updated variation of your POB: https://pastebin.com/96zjjaAi I would look to find a good necklace and anoint Feller of Foes or Whispers of Doom once you get two curses. You're spending too many points for one notable and I think for now you'll get more out of the points elsewhere. Using the points from Feller of Foes I added a bit more life with Bloodless, as well as added 3 open jewel sockets. I wouldn't respec until you have jewels for the sockets. The jewels will be good boosts for both DPS and life. Look for jewels with 7% max life and critical chance/multiplier mods (don't forget to check 2H/Cold/Axe variations of crit mods). Other useful mods will be attack speed, melee damage, and cold damage. When in doubt, add something you see on trade to your PoB and see what changes. In terms of gear, a new weapon is something you want to keep an eye out for (600+ pDPS) and you'll want to find rings with either Assassin's Mark on hit or Frostbite on hit. Otherwise keep focusing on chaos res, and the new jewels. Consider getting Wise Oak and Taste of Hate flasks. These will boost your resistances and give you a large boost to DPS against enemies with higher cold res. Alternatively you can use Atziri's Promise in place of Wise Oak for the extra Chaos Res. For Gems, I see that you have the Assassin's Mark gem...swap that with Frostbite if you find that curse ring first. Just know that both curses wont work unless you have the Whispers of Doom anoint or the Additional Curses mod on body armour. I would replace Fist of War support with Inspiration for more damage and move your Vaal Molten Shell to your Cast When Damage Taken link so that you get more automated protection at times. Let me know if you have any questions. I may have some old jewels/gear/flasks you can use for now so add me in game and we'll see what you can use. Thanks so much for the detailed response Boisen! One of my biggest issues is just not knowing the tree well enough. I need a lot of hand holding as far as that. Now that I have a good roadmap as far as equipment upgrades it's time to start grinding any currency I can. Thanks again! :)

" I actually had a wise oak drop for me in a Blight so I just picked up a taste of hate for pretty cheap. How do you go about handling aliments since 3 of our 5 flasks are unique and don't do much in terms of mitigations for things like bleeding/freeze/poison etc? I'm thinking I should probably have a bleed and poison immune on my life and diamond flasks. | |

holy sheet 13m dps, How are you getting more DPS I am stuck at 2.4m dps, Im doing okay at bossing but would like to do more damage so I can kill the boss faster so I can survive more, Could you please give me some tips on how I could increase my dps? Here is my POB https://pastebin.com/jsCptA5u
