Tencent causes PoE to be at serious risk for it's US players, GGG what's your take on this?

Ok please clarify what you said then, so I understand better:

1. Stakeholders in Tencent should shop around and find buyers.

2. Tencent should also sell (or divest?), because its in their "best interest?"

Dude you've started out rude but now this is getting mundane, you literally quoted me spelling it out for you. One last time, read it real slow like.

The companies Tencent holds a stake in, that operate within lets say the Five Eyes, because if the US stays this course they will align(and the rest of the west, and India wont be too far behind) and Tencent themselves should shop around for buyers. It is in their best interest to do so should things go further south for them because having a buyer lined up before it goes bad is a good thing, because while there is still a question of things getting worse they have a stronger negotiating position.

Ever get that feeling that you are having an adult conversation with a child and then you realise your on a computer games forum.

Also about the egocentric comment, I'm not American, nor have I ever lived there. But if you are, its ironically egocentric to think everyone you call names on the internet is American.

I will go back to being rude.

I just wanted you to clearly spell how clearly uninformed you were to beign with(which I noted very early on in the thread), and then double down by supplying some ridiculous investment advice to a massive billion dollar company, and their shareholders / business partners.

But maybe some Tencent executives or a few high powered industry traders will see your financial advice on the PoE forms and take action.

Gtfo lol.

US was fine with China Industry when China was just a cheap labor paradise for our companies but now that china companies can compete with our Fortune 500s too is like a war. Thats whats going on with all these bans and takeovers like Huawei and Tictok. That said I don't think a game played by a couple million Americans is in the US governments sights. Nothing to worry about. We go after big threats to our industry not a niche game.

You're deluded if you think that a couple million Americans play PoE. Doubt we even rate a couple 100k.

Hello hyperbole my old friend.

I think i can be forgiven for missing the clarification, there a a slue of articles from before (or at least at the hour i was reading about it) and even after the clarification that had not updated with that information. And even more talking heads even recently posting videos on YT that do not account for that part of the story. All this even setting aside that that bit of news was mere minutes old when I made my post. (oldest article I can find is 6+hours old, everything before that leads with "what does this mean for X game" question)

But at this point its clear none of this matters, much like the CCP does you are simply trying to save face.

What I have expressed are opinions and observations not investment advice, you are beyond desperate. And clearly enamored at the sight of opinions and observation that are not your own, that being said id hardly refer to anything that you have said as disagreeing with me. Just merely completely failing to grasp what I have said, dare i say through no fault of my own, followed by a temper tantrum.

But while we are on the subject of investment, what did this ban do to Tencents market value? Or the Yuan? You, are insane if you think none of what I have said is being considered.

Edit: And while we are on the subject of our starts in this thread, you, fly-kicked civility out the window within 3 words without warrant and have made zero effort to rectify that, only repeated attempts (and failures) at dismantling and rearranging what I have said to suit your lust for screeching, reddit is that way ----> .

All transactions made go to GGG, from that they get the budget for staff, the servers and the game development, tencent get a cut of the profit.

What you are trying to blow out of proportion would NOT effect the game or the players, and that is ignoring the statement made that it dose not effect any games.

Please read the thread, you clearly have not.

In a bid to move discussion along, while the Huawei ban was in my opinion a prickly pair i ultimately believed, and especially so in hindsight, it was justified. Im open to discussing it.

And id nearly agree that the Fortune 500 thing contributed to the motives, but it omits that India acted first, and its motives are clear as crystal.
As long as you don't live in China, Tencent isn't worse than Facebook or Google (I'm not saying it's good though). Actually, if you live in the US, Facebook and Google are worse.
