Name a ARPG better than PoE

Actual usage of the term ARPG tends to be a lot more limited that what that definition implies it should be. So either their concept isn't strict enough, or we're all misusing the term.

On the other hand, if Warframe does count as an ARPG, then yeah my earlier answer to the OP's challenge stands. Name a better ARPG than PoE? Warframe. ;)

People are misusing a lot of terms. She should have asked for H&S instead. Thats a lot more specific term. Warframe is ARPG but isnt H&S.

I honestly don't know. But it's not just that the games are isometric for me.
Diablo has a certain structure to it. The mountains of loot, inventory management, repetitive gameplay (in a good way), hordes of enemies and even the UI design. A lot of games listed on here like Elder Scrolls doesn't fit into that category at all for me.
I chose Dungeon Defenders. That's a tower defense 3rd person ARPG, but it ticks all the diablo boxes as well. It feels like Tower defense Diablo, even though it's not isometric.
But yes, ARPG covers much more than just "diablo like". (maybe that would a fitting name)
I don't feel like "isometric ARPG" is fiting, because like I said it's not "just" that it's isometric.

Devil may Cry and old God of War are Hack and slay´s.
Diabloclone´s cannot be paired with shootergame´s and Hack and slay´s.

There are many better arpgs that PoE: Harvest. Even that old cliche of these forums D3 is better.

There are few, if any better arpgs that PoE: Delve or PoE: [insert your favourite league here].

Having said that, PoE is running out of its formula and needs proper reset or PoE 2 early next year.
