Slam skills dps, where is it?

I'm I missing something or they are utter garbage compared to everything else in dps?

If oneshotting map and endgame bosses goes as garbage nowadays then they sure are.
I'm doing ok... perhaps your standards are way too high.

One-shotting does not involve an entire warcry rotation and multiple hits.

Sure you can buff output, but up until the warcry "adjustment" do you recall a strong performing build that required so many button presses beyond the standard flasking and aura usage?
Yep, totally over league play.

yeah it gets tiring to play a build that requires so many button presses

The damage is in the Warcries.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
DPS seems OK, but it's really awkward. It's a very different play style, which I kind of like for now. But I don't think it's something I'd want to play character after character.

Yea, too many button presses to make it work. I feel like I have to choose between my attack skills or flasks, but not both. Sure, I can get flasks in as well, but it's just too much and doesn't feel good at all.

Also, using a warcry after the attack instead of before reaching the mobs seems backwards.

You're already flasking constantly so even the simplest builds have frequent button "usage" outside maybe partciular necro summoners.

But having to micromanage warcry buffs goes beyond button pressing - counting attacks timing cooldowns and managing durations all the while having to deal with fight mechanics.

The payoff isn't really worth all the extra, kinda like why harvest got such a cold shoulder by so much of the player base.
Yep, totally over league play.

This is my impression too, after leveling a Juggernaut. The amount of points you have to invest in Warcry-nodes to make it feel "tolerable", is huge. Harvest, on the other hand... The investment of growing seeds, is more than worth the effort.

And there's nothing wrong with that - I can totally understand that there are players that will totally dig a different dynamic. I feel there are too many layers of rng in the process but I can at least acknowledge that there are players happily enjoying the option to craft for themselves for a change.

Game really needs more deterministic crafting - beastiary was a start, delve was a bit better than essences but allowing players to taste what would normally cost exalts to craft is a reward that goes beyond currency.
Yep, totally over league play.
