Regardless of your opinion, his statement that this is just a simple change was very shortsighted.

I was not just referring to pvp, but pve as well. Being shot from off screen is an element of difficulty that I don't have as much against as other players i guess. I don't make characters that get one hit. Again, I have no problem with the FOV. Either way it needs to be a fixed max zoom.

define core system and then we talk again if its easy to implement or not.

when i read someone talking of an engine in the first sentence and core system in the second, i pretty much asume we're talking about technical matters.

game balance isnt a technical matter and even on that part its not hard to balance either.
unless you lack of imagination.

but for such discussions you got a development team anyway.

right now the game is broken by design.
and yes i know what beta stands for (i m myself a hobby game developer and 3d artist in profession).

its right now very important for the devs to get exactly the feedback given in this thread.

for the beta testing itself my cold-templar isnt viable in any way right now and the RNG death by far away enemies is just one of several construction sites on my toon.

it felt comfortable to play it before the patch... nvm... going offtopic i sense :D

Having no knowledge of their game engine I wouldn't know how easy or hard it is. And neither can you tbh...

As for not having a problem with it cause you 'dont build characters that get 1 shotted' thats really short sighted. This diverse system exists, does it not, to allow people to build all sorts of characters, to expect everyone to build HC style survival characters just to avoid being hit by enemies they can't even see cause the FOV is gimped is utterly self defeating, being 1 shotted cause I suck at dodging/kiting is another matter and would be my own fault, being 1 shotted cause of poor graphical design decisions is crap frankly.

If thats the case just do away with player choice entirely and force everyone to play a certain way cause thats what MANY of the design decisions in POE currently are in effect doing. Its this idea again of an illusion of choice, when in fact choosing anything other than a very limited set of options is foolhardy at best.

I would like to see the quotes explaining whether its a technical limitations, or just that they dont want it and why.

Currently playing Witch and getting hit by offscreen mobs is not fun at all.
This was the first thing I asked: Is It possible to zoom out? 'cause You can never see some standing enemy, only attacking at all.
(in fact, Now I don't care the PvP, the setting is free for everybody, isn't it?)

+1 to zoom!

The fixed camera isn't so bad. I think the turning of camera is unneeded... outside... but in dungeons you sometimes see nothing at all. Maybe 'cause dungeons are complicated maps.

What else can be useful - An 'option' to set the angle of camera.

Why do not have a comfort during playing? :)

And, I'm looking for some key, please one for me. Thank you.
